It sits adjacent to the majestic Killarney National Park and gardens. The manor has been beautifully restored to its former glory with all modern conveniences guests love staying at the manor. We also have electric gates a house alarm and wired smoke alarm this is a very safe beautiful area. We live next door which guests find very helpful. The manor has a fantastic ambience and the large windows offer wonderful views of the manor grounds with a magical mountain backdrop. The manor offers privacy as well as relative seclusion while the nearest town is still a short walk away. Coolclogher House is the perfect location for long vacations, family reunions or for celebrating those special occasions such as: birthdays, wedding anniversaries, honeymoons, golfing vacations, retreats and destination weddings we host a few every year. We're registered by the Irish Tourist Board in the Historic House category. We are recommended by top travel guides as one of the best places to stay in Ireland. The majestic manor is luxuriously decorated with era sensitive antiques and art. All 7 bedrooms are en-suite with 8 modern bathrooms, and luxury super king-sized beds that can be adjusted to twin size. We also have the option to add extra beds to the rooms if needed.All bedrooms are large have their own beautiful unique views of the grounds and landscape. Egyptian top quality bed linen supplied. Kitchen is very large ideal for casual dining great views our guests love it. The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to feed your family or friends, while a great range of fantastic supermarkets, butchers shops, vegetable and fish markets are five minutes away some even deliver guests have the option to order on line. If you don't feel like cooking, that's no problem, we can recommend a private chef/caterer and his team to cook for you. Some guests also like having food cooked and dropped at the manor to have when they return. There is a separate dining room where you and your party can dine in luxury and style. The conservatory is home to a 200-year-old indoor camellia tree which blooms every February to April which is adjacent to the dining room a beautiful sight. There is also a very large grand hall ideal for musical evenings and drinks before dinner. Two large, welcoming living rooms great places to relax and catch up with friends and family by the fires lots of books and board games.We also have multi sky television channels.We have super fast WiFi internet. DAY TRIPS The manor is in a great location to enjoy day trips to Dingle,Ring Of Kerry, Skellig Ring, Skellig Michael, Ring Of Kerry, Blarney Castle/Stone, Ring Of Beara, Glengarriff, Gap Of Dunloe day tour, Cliffs Of Moher and many more. We can organise driver guides. Shopping, Food and Spa days are also popular. GOLF Links Golf this area is a golfers paradise and has been played in this area for hundred of years. World famous links golf courses such as Ballybunion Golf Club, Tralee Golf Club, Waterville Golf Club,Old Head, Killarney Golf and Fishing Club, Dooks Golf Club, are just some of the many clubs our guests like to play. Many smaller clubs such as Ross Golf Club are close by. We can advise and arrange transport and golf plus organise lots of activities/trips for the non-golfers amongst your party. Killarney is one of the most beautiful natural environments in the world and has served as inspiration for poems, novels and music. Killarney National Park and the wide range of attractions that lay within it (Muckross House, Muckross Abbey, Torc Waterfall and Ross Castle to name but a few) are a stone's throw away from Coolclogher House. The Killarney National Park is a perfect place for the outdoor enthusiast, you can kayak, cycle, abseil, horse ride and hike/walk to your heart's content. There is also the option to take a boat trips on the lakes. You'll fall in love with Innisfallen Island. An ancient monastery that became a seat of learning and where the annals of Innisfallen were compiled. The Gap Of Dunloe Tour can be enjoyed on a jaunting car ride or if you're feeling more energetic, you can enjoy the 7-mile walk through a glacier valley that guests enjoy. If you're in the mood for some culture, Ireland's National Event Centre, which plays host to world-famous music, theatre and comedy is close by.
