This first floor apartment is situated in the Old Harbour Masters building which was built in 1890 and sympathetically converted into residential apartments in 1990. It is conveniently located on Tay Street where city centre shops, bars and restaurants are practically on the doorstep whilst the bus and train stations are a leasurly 15minute walk away. The property is situated to the rear of the building offering views over the now disused Greyfriars Burial Ground which dates back to 1580. The site has been adopted by Historic Scotland and is now being managed as a biodiversity bank in which wild flowers, butterflies and insects are encouraged to flourish. Internally the apartment is bright, spacious and tastefully furnished, with free wifi throughout. The bedroom has a large comfortable King Size bed which will be made up with quality linen and pillows ready for your arrival. There are large built in wardrobes and plenty of drawer space. A freeview TV, radio alarm clock and hairdryer are also provided. In the lounge there are 2 comfy sofas one of which is a 'stressless ' recliner, a 32inch freeview TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs. We also have a great selection of books and board games for any rainy days you may encounter during your stay! We sincerely hope that it doesn't rain, but it is a good excuse to play a game of Perth Monopoly! The dining table and chairs leads to the open plan kitchen which is well equipped with plenty of crockery, utensils, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, cooker and washing machine. The recently updated bathroom has a large walk-in enclosure with a powerful 10.5kw electric shower, hot towel rail and feature mirror wall. Free wifi throughout. All quality white bed linen and towels supplied. A welcome pack containing milk, eggs, butter and bread are provided as are basic store cupboard essentials, toilet rolls and cleaning materials. There are several long stay public car parks all within walking distance. Charges apply e.g. South Inch car park costs £4 for 24 hours. Canal Street £8 for 24 hours. There is on street parking outside the flat, 4 hours maximum at a cost of £1 per hour. All council car parks and on street parking are free from 6pm - 8am and all day Sunday. The apartment is available for rental all year round. Check in 4pm. Check out 11am. (early/late check in /out may be available by prior arrangement) Strictly NO parties. A warm welcome from Heather, who gave us lots of info about Perth, Parking. Lots of nice touches about the flat with the table set and some essentials supplied. Flat is in an ideal location for adventuring further a field in Perthshire and surrounding countryside....More

Known as Scotlands larder Perthshire is famous for its amazing Food and Drink, award winning chefs are literally on your doorstep! There are an abundance of restraunts, cafes, bars and takeaways all within a short stroll of the apartment. The famous farmers markets are held on the first Saturday of every month, there you can sample the best of local produce. Why not visit our local winery at Errol or our distillery in Crieff. If that's not to your taste then a visit to the highland chocolatier in Grantully is certainly worth the trip as is the fantastic scenery you will encounter on the journey! Visit smallcitybigpersonality on the web to check out events planned for your chosen dates, there's sure to be something of interest!
Getting around
The apartment is located in Perth City Centre, therefore a car is not always necessary. There are excellent public transport links all within walking distance. The train and bus stations are a very easy 10-15 minutes away, so within an hour of leaving the apartment you could be shopping in Dundee or having a stroll around Dunkeld Cathedral! As Perth itself is such a compact City most of the local attractions are within walking distance and there is a very good local bus service.
