Edinburgh, Scotland
A well appointed one bedroom apartment in a historic old town building right in the middle of The Royal Mile. The apartment has a lovely, private south facing balcony overlooking the peaceful Tweeddale Court. The apartment itself has a wonderful spacious, bright feel and we have secondary glazing to keep the hustle and sounds of the Royal Mile at bay. The main bedroom has a very comfortable King sized bed and ample storage space. In the living room there is a good sized sofa bed and if you are tired from sightseeing we have some books, toys and games and a well equipped kitchen for a home cooked meal. There is also a baby's cot available should you need.
The Apartment itself is on the 3rd floor (4th to our American cousins) of a building dating back to the 17th Century- there is no lift (elevator), rather a stone spiral staircase tak...

A lovely flat in central Edinburgh, ideal for the Festival. Nice to have a little balcony, and contains everything you would need. Kate, the owner was very helpful and replied speedily to all my questions. Would highly recommend.

About the neighbourhood
Tweeddale court can be found directly opposite John Knox's house and the Netherbow storytelling centre, the halfway point in the Royal Mile and the site of Edinburghs medieval gateway.Dating back to 1470, and now incorporated into the Scottish Storytelling Centre, John Knox House is one of Scotlands greatest cultural treasures and is associated with the most dramatic events in Scotland's turbulent history. The House was the home of James Mossman, goldsmith to Mary Queen of Scots, and became known as the final residence of John Knox, the Protestant reformer. With our location right in the heart of the royal mile you couldn't be any closer to the attractions of Historic Edinburgh and the vibrant city that Edinburgh is today.
