Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.

Spacious, clean and comfortable....just what you want away from your own home
Within a LEVEL walking distance of Swansea town (about 15 min walk) and even closer to the beach, but only 10 mins walk from a good sized Sainsbury's, or even closer to a Tesco Express. Lots of places to eat (limited to Sun-Thu Meerkat Meal places, just Ask, Pizza Express and Frankie & Benny's, but Prezzo with a sea view is a car drive away [6 miles] at The Mumbles). My biggest tip is to let you know that Swansea is currently on the VUE Cinema listing that sells adult tickets EVERY day ALL day at £4.99 each AND also accept Meerkat Movie codes on Tues/ Weds. Went to Gower Heritage centre where Ian the guide was entertaining with his informative talk about Milling(25 mins car ride in the direction of The Mumbles) which are on NECTAR so a good way to use Nectar points. The 6th Floor apartment (with working lift) was far nicer inside than it's surroundings would have you believe on first approach. When we arrived there was a car in our allocated space. It would seem a resident with a parking permit didn't use their allocated space that day as there were two cycles encroaching into their space. However I had no qualms about adjusting the cycles (the Car park caretaker did it, as I said I would if he didn't) so that we got our car in the plot that belonged to the car in our space. 2 hours later the car had moved from our allocated plot so we could move across. We didn't have a need to use our car much but on occasions that we did it was unfortunate the car that parked passenger side next to us was oversized and didn't fit in his space without touching ours, making it impossible to open our car doors on passenger side. Luckily there was no car on drivers side else we would have been unable to use the space. Meanwhile back on the apartment itself the only things I thought were missing and would have been useful (notes left in guest book) were coat hooks on the back of the front door and tongs for flipping the bacon on the grill. The double wardrobe had the most hangers in there I've ever seen supplied in a rental property (I stopped counting when I reached 100 - yes I know it was weird I started counting at all) Warning that the power shower with its fixed head on the top of the shower wasn't the best for me at 5' 2", as by the time the water hit the top of my head it was a bit of a flimsy flow and made it tricky washing my hair. However it did make me realise that's the sort of shower that I MUST NOT purchase in my own home and always go for an adjustable height one where you can also lift the hose from the base too. There were lots of extras that I wouldn't have expected, but I wouldn't want to tell you what they are as it won't be unexpected items if I tell you and may not always be supplied There was a full sized fridge and freezer which isn't always supplied in rentals, the freezer even had 2 trays of ice cubes, which we did use some of, then made more for the next people We were particularly impressed with all the matching dark burgandy metallic (mostly) items in the kitchen. At one point I started looking for Metallic burgandy tongs to buy and leave in the apartment. I did find tongs in Poundland but they wouldn't have matched so I didn't get them. The shutters in the lounge and the bedroom work really well at letting light in during the day but keeping it dark at night. Unfortunately there is a lot of construction work going on at the Marina so if you want to sleep Mon - Fri you won't be doing so after 8am when the workers start. You'll also hear one of the bridge sirens when in the bedroom go off very regularly. Very active from 7am and particularly at the weekend.........but you are on holiday so time you got up and not slept the day away.
