Not a very comfortable stay
This was not the location we chose. We had reserved a different listing but were told two days before we were set to arrive that there was a maintenance issue and we had to be moved. As we were already in transit, we did not have the time to look at the new listing very carefully. We trusted they would be comparable since they were listed for the same price. The location was difficult to find even with photographs from the management company. There was an infestation of ants in the woodwork around the entry door and ants were crawling into the kitchen. The toilet upstairs was clogged. A handyman showed up the next day with a can of Raid and a plunger. The living room was cramped and the carpet still had food crumbs on it. The "king" bed was just two twin mattresses pushed together. There was no laundry soap, no cooking oil, no spices at all (not even salt) and really just the bare minimum of kitchen utensils. Not a functional kitchen for a family of four from out of the country staying for week. The place we put our deposit on seemed much more comfortable in a better location and got way better reviews. It felt a bit like a bait & switch scam, so we were thoroughly disappointed. They offered us a 25% discount or we would have gone to a hotel. But we checked out almost two weeks ago and I still haven't received the credit they promised. I will avoid this company's listings from now on.
