Our delightful 19th century cottage offers a cosy retreat and has a wealth of comfort and character. It is situated at the heart of the tiny secluded village of Clifford Chambers with its 20 mph limit no through road and with the peaceful winding River Stour and elegant Manor House nearby. It is thought by some that the Old Rectory in the village was Shakespeare’s real birthplace.Why not book for a special weekend - we are happy to supply extra personal touches. The beamed living/dining room with terracotta tiled floor has a large inglenook with log burner, Freeview TV, free WiFi, a small DVD collection and range of reference books. A small step up leads to the snug, a room for rest and recuperation and the home of part of the owners’ personal library.
