Our tranquil lodge sits on the bank of the river Avon, just one mile from the historic town of Stratford upon Avon in the UK.
Views from the decking are of wonderful willow trees and the river bank.
Spacious, light and tastefully furnished our South facing lodge sleeps up to 6 people in two bedrooms and a sofa bed which has gold standard memory foam mattress and cosy Duvalay bedding.

Take the river taxi on a 15 minute cruise past some beautiful houses and gardens into the Stratford upon Avon marina; take the bus, just a two minute ride into town, or stroll along the riverbank from the nearby Fisherman's Car Park.
Once here the places to visit and things to do are endless. Home of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Shakespeare's birthplace, Stratford Racecourse and much more.

I do not live locally but I have an excellent housekeeper who lives nearby and makes sure that the lodge is ready for your arrival. She lives locally and is available if you need any help.
Inside the lodge you will find lots of tourist information, maps, guides and maps of walks.
If you are coming to stay for a special occasion do please let me know and we can arrange for flowers, champagne, chocolates and/or spa day gift vouchers to be ready on your arrival.

Omg what a lovely stay we had kids and the time of there life's. Amazing lodge out of this world, cosy for this time of year and what a view we had.

We only managed a sneaky mid week break but we had a lovely time despite the rain. The lodge is cosy, comfortable & has everything you could possibly need. Lovely landscaped park with only 1 fault - no shop, it is a trek for a pint of milk. I believe this should soon be rectified. Walking distance from Stratford town...

The lodge is at the front of the site with views to the bridge over the river. On a warm day, sit on the decking and look out towards the river, glass in hand of course! The lodge is extremely comfortable and very well appointed with everything that made our stay so relaxing. Particularly enjoyed taking the river taxi into...

About the neighbourhood
There is so much to do in this area. The wonderful town of Stratford upon Avon is full of restaurants, theatres including the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Shakespeare's birthplace and many historic buildings.
Cruise along the River Avon, perhaps on a restaurant boat, or ride the Shakespeare Eye for a bird's eye view of the countryside.
Stratford has a famous racecourse and you are only 1 hour's drive from Cheltenham racecourse.
The whole county of Warwickshire is full of places to visit and enjoy with several historic National Trust properties nearby.
Golf Club and Spa available at the nearby Welcombe Hotel for day visitors. If you have your own fishing licence there is free fishing available in the River Avon from the riverbank.
Getting around
There are two parking spaces at Daisy Lodge. It is an easy drive into Stratford and there is plenty of parking there.
A fun way of getting into the town of Stratford upon Avon is to take the river taxi from just over the bridge opposite the lodge. The trip takes about 15 minutes and you sail past some wonderful houses and gardens.
Or there is a bus stop at the entrance to Avon Park and buses run frequently into Stratford, just a two minute ride.
You can walk to the nearest village of Tiddington .8km where there are shops and a pub and restaurant.
