Herringswell is ideally situated between the A11 and the A14, within 20 miles of the dreaming spires of Cambridge and 10 miles of the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds. Church Farmhouse is also ideally situated for those wishing to attend both the racing on The Rowley Mile or The July Course, or Tattersalls Bloodstock Sales. The wonderful Norfolk and Suffolk Coasts are not much more than an hour away and visitors can take in many of the historic East Anglian villages on their journey. The Icknield Way passes directly outside the Farmhouse, drawing walkers and cyclists along the Iceni road which once connected The Wash in Norfolk to the Dorset Coast. The village itself is mentioned in The Doomsday Book. A fascinating booklet about it's history is available in St Ethelbert’s Chu...Herringswell is ideally situated between the A11 and the A14, within 20 miles of the dreaming spires of Cambridge and 10 miles of the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds.
