Great location-just 5/10 min walk into the city centre. Family friendly apartment with everything you could need, even DVDs, magazines and hot chocolate. Quiet and clean with a well maintained/impressive entrance too. Well recommended. Parking space also if needed.

Perfect location, a few minutes walk and you are right in the center of York. The flat was very nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

York is the capital city of Yorkshire. York is an all year round tourist resort with its many attractions such as, river walks/cruises, quaint gift/designer shops, cafes and international cuisine. There is a large cosmopolitan shopping area, including upmarket wine bars restaurants and pubs. There is a particularly special atmosphere during the weeks prior to Christmas, a perfect place for Christmas shopping.

Directions to 50 County House York from the A64

1) Leave the A64 at the turn off signposted York/Fulford/McCarthur Glen Outlet.
2) Turn left onto the A19 sign posted Fulford/York.
3) Once on the A19 continue along this road for approx 2 miles (may be a little further) landmarks to look out for are: To your left Fulford Cycles,Iceland,to your right, Fulford police station,Fulford Arms pub.
4) A little further along from the Fulford Arms pub, there is a right turn you need to take onto Cemetery Road.
5) Once on Cemetery Road keep going through 3 sets of traffic lights, stay in the left hand lane.
6) At the 3rd set of traffic lights the road goes to the left this becomes Foss Island Road. On the right hand side is Waitrose.
