The access details are emailed after we have recieved full payment and received the signed booking form back to our our office by email or by post. We can be contacted by phone/ email during your stay and if we are not available we would certainly get back to you. We advise places to visit depending on the dates you have booked your holiday. We have a no e-cigarette policy, for the benefit of all our guests. Terms and conditions with additional information is available upon booking.

A really authentic and welcoming cottage . A particularly great day/dining room with an enclosed garden great for a dog. Double bedroom really nice but singles above that really dicey to manage steps upstairs. A really good romantic hideaway for a weekend or a week...More

Region: The North Yorkshire Moors National Park covers approx 554 square miles, with simply stunning landscapes varying from purple heather clad moors to the glorious cliffs of the coastline excellent for walkers. Walk into it from Blackbird Cottage. Located within the area five golf courses one within a 4 mile drive. The sleepy hamlet of Iburndale on the edge of Sleights is a wonderful place to to stay. Walk into Whitby or take a trip inland all within minutes. Go to nearby Ruswarp and enjoy watching or even participating in rowing boats on the river Esk and quaint tea shops.
