The Itchen River valley is famous for Watercress farms, and a wide variety of fine country pubs like the Thomas Lord, named for the Founder of Lords Cricket ground in London, amongst other fine dining experiences like the Michelin Starred Black Rat, or the River Cottage.
The Neighbourhood is listed as 'Arelesford' which is a village out of the city, but Holiday lettings have been advised that the actual location is in fact in the City of Winchester.

If you are coming from the USA and arriving at either Heathrow or Gatwick, there are trains to winchester regularly. From Gatwick, the Gatwick express to Clapham junction, and then change to a train to winchester takes about and hour and a half. From Heathrow, the fastest way is to take a rail-link bus to Woking and then train to winchester. Alternatively tube to London Waterloo, and then the train to winchester runs about every 20 minutes, and the trip takes about an hour.the walk from the train station of the Sky Penthouse is down hill from the station, and about 600 meters in distance. There is parking at the Sky Penthouse, but you will find the short walk (300M) into town is not very challenging!
