Fantastic house in a stunning location
The house was a wonderful base to attend a friends wedding, very well equipped and with a stunning view and garden. Large enough for us all to have our own space but with great areas to come together. Owners could not have been more helpful and were very prompt to respond when we had questions. Thankfully the sun also shone all weekend which was the icing of the cake.

Another return visit
We had a lovely week in September, we just love returning to this house & it’s fabulous views. I’m sure we will be returning again next year. Thoroughly enjoyed spending a couple of days on the beach with the beach hut. Perfect memories.

Absolutely first class holiday accommodation and location.
Exceptional house. Fantastic location right on the cliff with wonderful unobstructed sea views. One of the most well equipped houses we've ever stayed at, if not the best! Three generations of the family enjoyed the spacious and comfortable accommodation. So well situated for local pubs and restaurants and places of interest.
Lovely welcome pack with quality contents.
Would happily re-book and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Beach View to others.

Wonderful stay, lovely property and excellent location
We went in for a family holiday in Dec '21 with our parents. Total of 2 late 30s, 2 mid 70s and a 5 year kid. Knowing the weather we were looking for place with excellent sea views, comfortable inside and activities to enjoy with family staying indoors given Covid situation.
We are glad we got availability and picked this place, couldnt go wrong with this, its a lovely house right on the cliff overlooking the beach and everything mentioned about the property is absolutely spot on and its very well maintained and stocked with superb wifi, smart TVs with Sky, lots of kids games and the best part is the conservatory and back garden overlooking the sea. You don't get as great sea views even in best 5 star hotels.
The house has 4 bedrooms but the three upstairs are the real pleasure, the one on ground floor is more of a reserved one and we initially thought our parents will use it but they were tempted to climb upstairs given the views, also ground floor BR is slightly colder even with heating. The kids room with a secret den was a gem to keep my 5 year old busy in himself.
I would mention though that there is one usable living area as the conservatory is a good short term sitout but cant be used throughout, so if you are planning large group of multiple families dont go above 6 full adults and 2 kids max otherwise it might become very tight in common areas. The kitchen is also decent and well stocked but not big enough to do a full cooking, we mostly had pre cooked meals and ready to eat to it was all good in terms of heating and tea/coffee. There is a large Amercian fridge freezer and another small one to plenty of storage for food items. Also there is a full utility with ample space and washing machine, second microwave. Heating is great with a smart Hive control in hallway which you can operate easily. As I said wifi is great and plenty of space if you want to extend your stay and work from the propoerty for few days.
With smart TVs is almost all key rooms and Sky TV running you are spoilt for choices, u will never need your own streaming accounts or devices to connect. There are iphone/ipad music docs but they dont have Bluetooth if you are carrying any other phone.
The driveway of the property is tight, on a steep ramp leading to a busy road so you do need good driving skills to get in and out everyday. Also we had one SUV but this space will be very tight for 2 cars, however offstreet parking free around.
Walk to the beach is easy and very picturesque, its needs getting down the cliff on a nice ramp so for old members might be a challenge walking up, but if you drive 10 min to Boscombe you have beach level road access by car. There are plenty of lounge, pubs, restaurants and grocery stores within 5 min of drive so dont need to bother about it.
Bouremouth Pier is clearly visible from the garden of the property and endless sea on both ends.
When coming for the first time you wont be able to see the no. 104 if its dark and take a while as adjoining houses also dont have very visitble no. plates so takes a bit of time.
This is premium priced but does offer the service, best if you want to spend mostly family time indoors or leisure strolls around the area.

Thank you Apoorva for the detailed and thoughtful review and we are delighted you had a wonderful time! The house is very versatile with stays ranging for couples to 8 adults all hosted in comfort. The kitchen is as per photo with a double oven, two microwaves, dry air fryer and fully equipped to cook a feast fit for a king. There is a separate utility room. The house as you say is roasting hot with radiators turned on so will check the cooler room you mentioned for the rad valve. Just so guests know the conservatory has two radiators and an electric heater so is usable all year. The photos show space and chairs for 8 in conservatory and 6 in formal dining room (never used!).

Dissapointed
The house was very nice and had fantastic views and was very well equipped but it was not 5 star which I thought it would be for the price. It is not child friendly, no stair gates and china and glass ornaments everywhere, the house was very cluttered, too much furniture. We asked for a travel cot and high chair, the travel cot was there but no sheets, we had to ring about high chair and sheets, when we got it out it was very dirty. When I booked the house it mentioned use of shared pool, I had to look at another site after I had booked to find that it was at a leisure club in Bournemouth, I presumed it would be near the house. The week before I went I enquired about the Leisure club to be told due to Covid it wasn't available, pools are open so I don't know why. We were found an alternative at another hotel in Bournemouth, lots of traffic and had to pay for parking, it was £10 per adult for club, I would be reimbursed, We were told as an alternative we could use the beach hut, this was already included in the price as we went in July, the beach hut needs attention, the roof leaked and all the chairs were wet. The headline on the advert is a shared pool, it should state that it is at a leisure club in Bournemouth. The advert should have been updated to say that the Leisure club was closed due to Covid. I also recommend you get the door sorted out to the balcony, I could only open it a little bit and couldn't get on the balcony. Overall I was very disappointed, such a shame as it is a lovely house and great location.

Thanks for feedback Gina and we are pleased you found the house to be lovely in a great location. The pool has always been subject of covid restrictions which have varied wildly and it has been removed from the website. In order to avoid disappointment, we called around every hotel in the area and found you a better alternative pool and offered to reimburse the daily cost of attendance for all your group and upgraded your hamper to compensate for any hassle caused by not knowing what pool would in fact be open. Anyhow we are so sorry that pool was not as close to the house as you anticipated. The good news (at the moment) is that this large hotel indoor pool (and gym) is now available for guests without having to book (at their own cost – currently £10 per day per adult with children under 2 free) should they wish to use it. The balcony has two doors into it and both work. The one door needs a hand lower down on it to slide it smoothly. We would have been happy to sort it if you had reported any problem while there. We had no notification from you of the high chair not being clean but as you noted it was not put out by the cleaning team (apologies for that oversight) but collected by your son from storage. We cannot trace leak in beach hut but will check again in due course. We have taken care in furnishing and equipping the house. There are some local ornaments such as Poole pottery and paintings from local artists. The house welcomes children and there is a dolls house and a Pirate room/den for them to enjoy. Depending on age some items need to be placed out of reach! Kind regards Hilton and Vivienne

Amazing Beach View House
This is a fantastic family friendly holiday house with the most amazing sea views, on the cliff overlooking the beach. The house is impressive with a homely feel - fully equipped and ready to enjoy your stay. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and entertain, with large fridge and freezer in addition to a washing machine and dryer. The beds are comfortable and cosy. The zigzag path to the beach is a few minutes walk away, without having to cross roads, so an easy walk with children (although the path is quite steep). The owner is very helpful and accommodating who is prompt at answering emails. Great house, great location.

Location is perfect! The house is on the cliff overlooking the sea...no street or road in between. It has a large conservatory with doors that open onto a large garden. Large, spacious bedrooms...two with ocean views and balconies. Very comfy superkingsize beds with luxurious linens. Large televisions in every room.
Perfectly situated for long walks along the beach...only a couple of miles to beautiful Hengistbury Head. We were there for two weeks and are returning for three weeks this summer. I highly recommend this lovely home. Very friendly responsive host.
