There is room for 2 or 3 cars on the Drive. Bookings are invited from Saturday to Saturday only.
We welcome pets but only on the understanding that their owners please remove all the 'evidence'.
The house keys will be posted to your home address twelve days prior to your holiday.
You can access the Property from 15:00 hours on the Arrival Date and you are asked to please vacate by 10:00 hours on the Departure Date.

Great holiday location
Lovely clean house just a short two minute stroll and you are on the sandy beach. The house very spacious our party of 7 and 2 dogs had plenty of room. Those taking dogs the rear garden is totally dog friendly. Excellent communication with owners any questions quickly answered. Thanks we had a great holiday.

Sea view family house in Southbourne.
5 minutes from the beach, double parking dog friendly ,secure garden and reasonably priced.Clean and tidy throughout.Great for families.

Great Place for you and your dog
We have stayed many times with our pets, always had a wonderful time, close to beach and Southbourne parade for shopping and restaurants.
We liked the area so much we moved up the road in 2021
Thanks to Roger & Maureen for accommodating us over the years, often on the fly.

Family holiday
We stayed here as a family of seven ranging from 8 weeks to 56.
Accommodation was very dated, a bit like walking into granny's house but it was clean and the proximity to the beach more than made up for it. Grandson aged 2 loved being able to see the sea and able to go to the seaside as often as he liked. He was sad when we had to leave the holiday house.
Could do with updating somewhat but when you get used to it absolutely fab location and may well book again.

Amazing place, Amazing holiday
We loved staying here the sea views were great and we spent most evenings on the balcony with a glass of wine.
The rooms were big and it was a nice house.

100 yards from the beach and dog friendly.
The house is a few years old now but very clean and has all the basics.We were looking for a dog and child friendly house with a secure garden close to the beach.
There is also free wifi ,cot,washing machine and pot washer. Main bedroom has sea views. This was our second visit.

Beautiful beach location
We had a fab time. We were visiting our old home town from Manchester. Perfect location for some dog walks to Hengistbury Head.
Perfect location for family visits in the surrounding areas.
Would love to visit during the summer months so close to the beach 🏖

Great location and garden. Spacious house.
Just a very short walk to the beach which was great for walking the dog.
House was very spacious but could do with a little TLC.
Kitchen could do with some Pyrex or other ovenproof dishes. We were lucky in that we took our own slow cooker.
Garden was large and enclosed; perfect for the dog, who loved it.
All in all a great place to stay and would hope to stay there again.
Not sure about nightlife options near the property as we weren't particularly looking for them; But Boscombe, southbourne etc are very close.

Loved the house only thing the decor was a bit outdated. Could do with some better knives for preparing food as we had to buy one as the ones there didn’t really work but this definitely didn’t spoil our stay.

Old fashioned house, but entirley functional
Excellent location 100 metres from the sea and dog friendly beach, which we used a lot.
Nice long garden for doggies, we had to clean up other dogs mess for the gardener, but that's other visitors.
Lack of mains outlets in every room, Tip- bring a couple of extension boards for hairdryers, laptops etc.
Good washing machine, tricky to understand, download instructions and place in kitchen please.
Dishwasher is excellent, fridge and freezer very efficient.
walk-in shower and toilet wet room downstairs has best water pressure. Something not right with bathroom cold water supply, bedroom has an excellent cold water flow to the sink.
Fixed the shutter blinds on back sliding doors with glue and lubricated the doors. Much better now.
Beds soft, but comfortable, 2nd bedroom door needs trimming, very noisy to shut and open at night. I would have fixed that too if I had my tools with me.
Sofas comfy, freeview on the TV good and a small DVD player provided.
Virgin broadband is reliable once I re-fitted the loose cables it was excellent.
We found the house very comfortable and will use again, excellent location, easy access to all local destinations.

Our house is situated about four miles to the east of Bournemouth town centre at the end of the seven mile prominade. Thus we enjoy a comparatively quite spot but can easily reach the town centre by car, bus (open top or cheaper public service) or an energetic level walk.
Immediately to our east is the historic nature reserve of Hengistbury Head. The view from the top is an absolute must. You can then decend for a round of golf or to take the Noddy Train to see the famous Mudeford beach huts. From in front of these beach huts take the ferry across to Mudeford Harbour where you can book a sea cruise or fishing trip or buy fish straight off the boat.
Alternatively leave our house and take the half hour stroll due north to Tuckton Gardens (on Tuckton Roundabout). This is a real beauty spot on the river with putting, tea gardens, children's playground and a Harvester family pub (the nearest one). You can hire motor or rowing boats or take a ferry across to Christchurch. This beautiful town boasts a quite amazing church - Christchurch Abbey.
Christchurch Harbour is huge and affords amazing bird life. If you are a serious birder Mudeford Marshes often throws up a rare treat.

The suggested route is to approach Bournemouth on the A338.
Four miles south of the junction with the A31 turn left towards Christchurch on the B3073.
After 2 miles and immediately after the humpback bridge turn right marked Southbourne B3059.
At Tuckton Roundabout take the 2nd exit into Belle Vue Road.
Take the 4th left into Church Road which becomes Dalmeny Road.
