We are located on the Eastern boundary of Bournemouth yet we are far closer to Christchurch with the River Stour nearby.

Interaction with guests:Â We live on site in the main part of the house so are available if you need anything. We can meet and show you where everything is located so you can fully enjoy your stay. Should you require an additional laundry change or clean during your stay let us know and this can be arranged for a small fee. We appreciate its your holiday so do not want to be in your way but if we can help in anyway, feel free to ask. We know are area very well and would be happy to talk through all of the social amenities available upon arrival. We expect you to have a really peaceful, relaxing stay and we shall do everything when can to assist in this objective.

This holiday home is lovely. Clean, spacious, attractive, comfortable, everything we needed. Loved the wall papered with a map of the local area! (Beautiful AND useful!) We felt welcomed and looked after by the owner, but not at all overlooked. We would definitely stay again.

Dorset gem by the beach
This is easily the best property you can find in this area. Tastefully renovated (who knows the level of UK tourist accomodation - this is not usually the case) and fully equipped house, perfect for a family or a group of friends to explore Dorset or just chill out on the nearby beach.
Thanks Richard for an amazing stay!
Will be coming back.

Second visit to this beautiful holiday home - great bedding, hot powerful showers and everything we expect and more!
Second time visit to this stunning holiday home with the family. Unbelievably well equipped, with fab furnishings, great beds and bedding and beautiful vibe all round.
Richard was the perfect host and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful and well situated place to anyone!

Great experience
Excellent stay at this charming house, very clean and nicely decorated!
Richard was awesome, very quick in answering our questions and provided plenty of address to go in the surroundings.
I definitely recommend this stay in Bournemouth!

Great holiday home in great location
Great little holiday home with everything you need. We had a family weekend here and it was just right for us all including the little one. Very comfortable and well equipped.

Perfect stay in a perfect location
Definitely coming back to this cosy (yet spacious) house close to the beach.
Tastefully renovated, perfect for 4 friends, or a family.
2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, spacious kitchen and living room provides everything you might need for even a longer stay (1+weeks).
Parking in front of the house, everything was hustle free.
It was the first time I visited Southbourne, and I was definitely impressed.
A lot of (good quality!) restaurants, stunning beach, safe neighbourhood.
Definitely prefer it to the centre of Bournemouth.
On top of everything Richard was a great host, always responsive.

Excellent stay
This apartment is fantastic. V clean, modern, has great facilities, comfortable and close to so many amenities. Shops, restaurants, beach.
The owner is excellent at answering queries in a timely manner, and gave us so many suggestions regarding restaurants, travel and things to do.

2 young families had an excellent stay
2 couples with 2 under 2s stayed for two nights. The accommodation was perfect for us, so much space and a lovely outdoor area for the little ones to play safely. It was so clean and tidy and beautifully decorated. Very close to the beach and local amenities. Richard was a fantastic host and was on hand to help with any queries. We would definitely recommend this place.

A suburb of Bournemouth, Southbourne features long sandy beaches that stretch for miles. The Green Flag award-winning Seafield Gardens are an open space just a short walk from the apartment and are a popular place for picnics complete with a children's play area, bowls, tennis facilities and a Grade II Listed water tower. Southbourne is located on the coast to the eastern side of Bournemouth and is within walking distance of the historic town of Christchurch. Hengistbury Head AONB is also nearby as are Nautical activities on the River Stour at Wick.
Getting around
Nearby beaches can be accessed via various clifftop pathways, or you can reach Southbourne's beach via the character Fisherman's Walk Cliff Railway, which is the smallest funicular railway in the world at just 128 feet down to the beach. We are served by a regular bus service providing travel to Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. Bournemouth can also be accessed on foot along the completely level beach promenade.
