Song of the Sea enjoys a prime position just 20 yards from the seafront in Penzance and overlooks Jubilee Pool, the large seawater lido. The cottage is ideally situated to explore the area with either family or friends. Historic Chapel Street is just around the corner with a choice of great pubs and restaurants, art galleries and boutiques. The harbour is a short walk away; here you can organise fishing trips, wildlife cruises and the ferry for trips to the Isles of Scilly. A stroll away, along the promenade, is Morrab Gardens, a children’s play area, a skate park and then the village of Newlyn to buy fresh fish for supper. Outside you will find a spacious paved courtyard which has a large picnic-style table and a barbecue for al-fresco dining.   West Cornwall is a beautiful part of the country with a rugged coastline, sandy beaches and beautiful villages to explore. Song of the Sea is within easy reach of attractions such as Land's End, the stunning Minack Theatre, St Michael’s Mount and Flambards theme park. The train and bus stations are within walking distance for those who do not wish to drive. Sleeps: 5. Bedrooms: 3. Beds: 1 x King-size (5’), 1 x twin (3’), 1 x single (3’). Bed linen and towels: Bed linen and towels provided for free at the property. Accessibility: Property set over 2 floors. Ground floor cloakroom with basin and WC. Kitchen and utilities: Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Facilities for families: Travel cot and highchair provided (but no travel cot linen), please let us know at the time of booking. Outside: paved courtyard with a picnic table and barbecue. Pets: Not allowed. Parking: On road parking available to the front of the cottage, alternatively there is a car park 50 yards away. Nearest restaurant: 0.1 miles. Nearest amenities: 0.1 miles.
