Four adults are comfortably catered for. Additionally, a baby cot bed is available on request for a baby / toddler.
As the first floor is accessed via a spiral staircase, we regret that this property is not suitable for people who have difficulty walking or climbing stairs.

We stayed for a wedding and Paul was very helpful in regard to our arrival and equipment for my daughter’s baby.
The house was bright, very clean and well equipped.
Cambridge is a manageable walk or £1 bus fare from nearby hills road.
We slept well as the house is quiet and private.

Cambridge
The overall structure of the accommodation you can't really fault. However it could do with being redecorated, the spiral staircase won't be to everyone's liking and the furniture on the roof terrace needed a good scrub before we could sit out on it. The area is a bit of a mixed bag but you have to go in to the city to find a decent restaurant or pub. The bonus was the parking was easy and getting in and out of the city was reasonably straight forward.

Very convenient for station and city centre
The house is in a quiet residential road within easy walking distance from the station and Cambridge centre. The house also benefits from off street parking. The house itself is very comfortable and well equipped. The owners live next door so when we couldn’t get the hang of the TV they were able to pop round and explain! We particularly liked the fact that the duvets were adaptable to suit the temperature. So often we have stayed in properties where the duvets were 14 tog regardless of the time of year. It is worth noting that the single room on the ground floor does not have access to a bathroom on that floor and the living accommodation and third bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor accessed via a spiral staircase so may not be suitable for everyone. But I would thoroughly recommend the property and happily return when visiting Cambridge again.

Very Conveniently Located House
35Rock Road was well equipped and a convenient half hour walk into the centre of Cambridge. Plenty of fast food and grocery stores in the area. With the help of Deliveroo the wet weather and social distancing restrictions didn’t frustrate our efforts to eat well in the comfort of our temporary home. Would definitely like to return to enjoy this lovely city when the colleges are open for visits again.

Stylish property in great city location
This fabulous house is located just a mile from Cambridge city centre and within easy walking distance of eating and leisure facilities. The house has everything you could need - the kitchen was particularly well resourced. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the property provided great space for us.

Well appointed Cambridge accommodation not far from station and other amenities
Quirky and well appointed 3 bedroom accommodation, with useful off-road parking in a quiet residential area. Great ensuite to the ground floor master double bedroom, another bathroom serving two top floor bedrooms and a lovely, huge balcony area if the weather is fine. Books, games,TV and DAB radio in the open plan lounge makes a nice little home from home for a Cambridge based stay. Hosts popped in to say Hi, left information leaflets and have done a useful and well presented guide book for local attractions, places to eat etc. Clean, tidy, spacious, well appointed and modern - couldn't fault it, suited our long weekend Graduation plans perfectly

Excellent family accommodation
Great short break accommodation for our family visit to Cambridge. Much more than just a place to crash after a day’s sightseeing, it provided a real home from home.
Quirky and fun, this modernist style house has a spacious upstairs living area, three good-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. The children loved the spiral staircase!
The house was really comfortable and immaculately clean. Nice big TV (with BT Vision) and DVD provided for all our entertainment needs. A bonus was the Bluetooth radio/hifi unit, to which we could stream radio from our phones. The kitchen was very well equipped with appliances, pots and pans, crockery and glassware.
Whilst very convenient for the railway station, the location is a little way from the centre – requiring a good half-hour walk up Hill’s Road and Regent Street into town. However, it was well served by various bus routes.
The owners were extremely helpful, allowing us to check-in early and leave our luggage after check-out time. The accommodation information guide was one of the best we’ve ever seen, including everything we needed to know about the house, how to use the facilities and a good selection of maps of the area.

It was an excellent stay. You can find every thing you need in the house. The Area is very nice. Paul is a very nice person. However, the rent was a bit expensive!

A great short break
We booked this house as we knew it was close to our old college, Homerton and had good transport links into the city just around the corner. After a difficult journey, we were delighted to arrive and find a basket of goodies and the heating on - a lovely warm welcome. The house was as advertised and all communication with the owner was good. We had a super few days.

Perfekte Unterkunft für Familie mit Teenagern
Wegbeschreibung, Schlüsselübergabe, Infos zur Wohnung und zum Wohnort sind perfekt organisiert. Die Wohnung ist modern und behaglich eingerichtet und hat eine schöne Terrasse. Angenehm, bei der Ankunft Kaffee, Tee, Kleingebäck und Milch im Kühlschrank vorzufinden. Auch in den Bäder und in der Küche ist alles sehr gut ausgestattet.
Weitere Pluspunkte: aufmerksamer und freundlicher Vermieter, gut funktionierendes WLAN, Bushaltestelle und kleiner Supermarkt ganz in der Nähe.
Die beiden Etagen der Wohnung sind mit einer Wendeltreppe verbunden, die für Menschen mit Behinderungen und Senioren eher ungeeignet ist.

35RockRoad is located in the Victorian district of Cambridge. Local shops are within minutes walking distance. The area also boasts several good quality restaurants (including Michelin starred Alimentum), a cinema, fitness centre, bicycle rent and a ten pin bowling alley. The train station is 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by bus (bus stops are within minutes of the property). The City Centre, Addenbrookes Hospital, several language schools, Cherry Hinton Hall park and various science parks are all within easy reach.
Getting around
Getting around Cambridge couldn't be easier. Several bus stops can be found minutes from the house. The train station is also easily reached (15 mins walk). Or do as the locals and get around by bike: bicycle rental is available nearby and we provide free bike lock-up facilities.
