My wife and I like so many people this year needed a short break to totally escape all the problems of 2020. We found this break were you stay in a large articulated van on the Russell circus site which at the moment is located between Mablethorpe and Sutton on sea.
The van is located next to the big top and in with all the artists caravans meaning that you are able to feel you are somewhere totally different to your norm. The van is large and has a double bedroom and also a single bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet. The kitchen diner is large and has all the basics needed to either cook or eat in from the local area such as great fish and chips at reasonable prices. The van also boasts a living room with a large (very) corner suite and a big screen TV. Withe this trip you also get a pass for the circus itself which was excellent. 5 star it is not but good fun, good location and good attitude from the very friendly performers especially Jono the clown and of course Rusty Russell himself. best short break ever.

Very clean and tidy
My mum and me stayed here for 4 nites. It was very clean and tidy. Everything to our satisfaction. Well worth stopping in.

We have stayed in a lot of chalets on this park, but non like this, proper little home from home, spotlessly clean, well decorated, bunk bed for the kids, that was really handy, full size cooker with oven so didn't Need to keep eating out. Great chalet, great holiday

on first entering this chalet it looked pleasant just a little small but it looked clean and tidy, on entering the kitchen we were so disappointed absolutely no were at all to put any food there was a very narrow cupboard on wall about 3/4 inches in depth couldn't even put a loaf of bread in there, there was a plastic drainer on sink which was totally broken so couldn't be used, good job i took a bag of pound coins as we wasn't told it was an electric metre, bedroom was ok but notice bedding hadn't been ironed if it had it wasn't very good, bathroom was nice, we thought we were having a double room and a single as i needed two rooms as we are elderly so can not climb in and out of double bed when its pushed up a wall, how ever there was no single bed it was bunks which really wasnt suitable at all, on close inspection there were crumbs and dirt under the table cloth that was on table, really long black hair that kept appearing on floor so couldn't have been swept very well, tried to open a window on front of property because of the heat in there and had a lot of trouble closing it, the site had cut the grass which was just left and not gotten up so it looked an utter mess, we were told we could get wifi at the office for a charge of £10 when we went to get it cost us £20, we arrived on the saturday and left on the wednesday was glad to be home should have been there for a week.

This is the first bad revue our chalet has ever had and this upsets us deaply, so let's address the issues, the size issue, it is a chalet, not a mansion house, sorry but I don't know what else you expected from a chalet, the same has to be said for the kitchen, it is laid out to the best it can be for a chalet, due to guests requests we fitted a full cooker in the kitchen, but this did loose cupboard space, a necessary compromise. The bunk beds are all in the description on our site, I can only suggest that you read the discription more clearly prior to booking, we are shocked and surprised to hear you found crumbs etc, as we do clean very well, and I personally inspect each time, so for this I am sorry, I will have to inspect more closely, the windows are due to be replaced with double glazing so the window problem will then be solved, we do not have control of the grass this is down to the park, you should have complained to them about it.this is also the case for the wifi. We are very sad that you did not eon joy your stay and will rectify all that we can

Quite nice and good quiet area.
The chalet was in a nice area and was quiet. It was a good value for my money as well. A couple of things that need a little love. There was not quite enough cooking utensils or pans for my liking. It was not cleaned before we got there (not bad though, easy cleaning for us) and when it rained the wind blew it against the front doors and it leaked underneath (but they are getting new double glazed windows on all the chalets, so it shouldn't be a problem soon; also the electric kettle was clogged and icky, but it was easy enough to boil water in a pan.) Otherwise, it was great and we had a wonderful time.

many thanks for your revue, the chalet has 3 pans, hanging on the wall, due to the size restriction and the fact that these are short term holiday homes, we have usually found this to be enough, but we will from now on leave more pans due to your comment, The Chalets are always cleaned before a guest arrives, bedding and towels all changed so unsure what the problem was with that, sorry to hear about the rain, but as you say the windows are all to be changed so this will never happen again, we have also now replaced the electric Kettle.

Fantastic stay!
Amazing chalet with excellent facilities in a fantastic location. Everything was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything that you need.We received a friendly, warm welcome .......even free circus tickets :) Will definitely book again. Thanks for a lovely stay..

Lovely chalet
Chalet was clean and tidy, also there were towels, sheets and toiletries provided. Would definatly be going there again.

Very good place for a short weekend stay
Very good location, very close to sea. Good contact with property owner. very clean and tidy house in quite place. I'd love to come back for next holidays but for a longer while. :)

much better than expected
To be honest we had stayed in a Chalet in Mablethorpe before and we were very dissapointed, but we needed a few days away as My husband had not been well, sunshine Chalets were very affordable so we took a chance, well I am so glad we did, the Chalet was lovely, a real home from home, everything was spotless, fresg bedding towels etc, the owners were very helpful and friendly, the only downside is that it only has a hob, a full cooker would be nice as I love to cook, but it was lovely, and we will certainly be using sunshine Chalets again.

a cut above the rest
I have stayed in a lot of Chalets in Mablethorpe, but this really has to be the best, beautifully decorated and comfortable with leather recliners seats, a lovely touch was teas, coffees and biscuits being their when you arrive.
The owners were more than helpful and you also get free passes to the ciircus which non of the other Chalets offer.
the park is well equiped with a cafe shop, bar with live bands most nights, and all just a shall walk to the beach
