The space includes: • bedroom with block-out blinds and queen bed with quality mattress, pillows and bed linen for a great night’s sleep; • living area with comfortable leather couch, 37” flat screen tv, fridge, microwave, and tea and coffee making facilities (including plates, bowls, cups, glasses and cutlery); • large bathroom with bath, rain shower, luxury towels, hair-dryer and essential toiletries; • separate toilet; • large timber deck overlooking the rear garden; • table and chairs for internal or external use; • heating and air-conditioning; • wi-fi; and • your own entrance, so that you can come and go as you please. Please note that the space does not include a kitchen or laundry. If you are planning a longer stay (minimum 5 nights) and need cooking or laundry facilities, message us to check availability and price. Breakfast: We pride ourselves on serving healthy, fresh, homemade breakfasts. However, we recognise that you may not want breakfast, or may prefer to experience Melbourne’s café culture, so our accommodation price does not include breakfast. You can let us know your breakfast preferences when you book. Other meals: Victoria is the food and wine capital of Australia and Melbourne’s city centre has a myriad of restaurants, cafes, bistros and bars in which you can experience some of the world’s greatest cuisines. Closer to us, nearby Mt Alexander Road boasts a lively entertainment precinct with restaurants, cafés and bars, while historical Union Road and Puckle Street offer a more laid back dining atmosphere. All can be accessed in just a few minutes by car or tram. Alternatively, take a stroll to celebrity chef Gary Mehigan's Boathouse restaurant, on the banks of the Maribyrnong River, or one of the many other restaurants that are only a stone’s throw away.More

I was lucky enough to stay here recently while being in Melbourne and found the property to be very much as described in the information. it is very private and is in a quiet street, but close to public transport and you have your own...More

Lovely stay, very comfortable, beautiful view, cosy and private. Shower had a large rose head which was lovely. Only thing is, I wish we had more time to stay longer!

About the neighbourhood
You can go for a walk, run or cycle along the beautiful Maribyrnong River at the bottom of the hill, or have a hit of tennis or golf just around the corner, at Riverside Golf and Tennis Centre. If you’re visiting for the Spring Racing Carnival, Flemington Racecourse is only 3km (a short tram ride) away. Moonee Valley Racecourse is also nearby, if you’re coming earlier for the Cox Plate. Even closer is the Melbourne Showgrounds, if you’re visiting for the Royal Melbourne Show or one of the many trade shows, exhibitions, expos or festivals that are held there each year. And Australia's fourth largest shopping centre, Highpoint, is also a short walk along the river, or tram ride, away.
Getting around
Trams, trains, buses, taxis and planes are all within easy access, with buses and the route 57 tram into the CBD less than a 5 minute walk away. For day trips, we are an ideal base to head into the west, north and north-west parts of Victoria. Visit the rugged beaches and wineries around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula (1 hour away) before doing one of the world's most scenic coastal drives along the Great Ocean Road. Visit the mineral spas, wellness retreats, and wineries around Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges (50 minutes away), or the goldfields and wineries further afield around Ballarat and Heathcote (1.5 hours away).
