About the neighbourhood
There are some lovely local beaches within 2 miles of the cottage, these include Abermawr and its smaller neighbour Aberbach, these being very quite, clean pebble beaches. Other beaches to visit are Abereiddy and Whitesands (life guarded during the summer) There is a small pub in the village, which is a walkable half a mile down the lane, they give a warm welcome to visitors . There are many establishments for eating out to suit a whole variety of tastes and budget, including the local 'award winning' fish and chip shop Something's Cooking, well worth a visit.
