Sit back, relax, and enjoy the incredible views of Quamichan Lake and the hills of Cowichan! King size bed with vanity, dresser, and 2 nightstands in the bedroom. It has an ensuite bathroom with separate shower and whirlpool bathtub, and a walk-in closet. The great room has a natural gas fireplace, rugs, TV, DVD player and stereo, 2 double sofabeds and an extra-long dining table with 6 counter-height chairs. Kitchen has a gas stove/oven, dishwasher and drawer fridge, dinnerware, and complete with small appliances (coffeemaker, electric kettle, bread toaster, and rice cooker). You may smoke in the deck but please close the deck door when you do. 2. NO EATING in the bedrooms. 3. QUIET HOURS are between 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. 4. ALWAYS keep the doors closed and locked. CLOSE all windows when you leave. 5. TURN OFF fireplace, electric fan, lights, and TV when you are not using them, and before saying, 'Till next time!' to the house.

About the neighbourhood
One of the beautiful, well-maintained houses on the hilly side of Mt. Tzouhalem. The house is unique within the vicinity: wrap-around deck and windows, massive beams and posts. Truly West Coast experience! One block from the house is Mt. Tzouhalem's parking lot - best hiking and biking site! Give yourself at least 3 hours return to see the summit and views!
Getting around
Downtown Duncan is an easy 10-minute ride by car where you can find all your needs: restaurants, groceries and necessities. Duncan is called the 'City of Totem Poles'. The Totems self-guided walking tour starts at the corner of Station St. and Canada Ave. There are about 40 totems to meet so wear comfortable shoes. Lots of local restaurants along the way - stop and enjoy local flavor! Every Saturday, there is a Duncan Farmer's Market along Craig St. with live entertainment from April to October (over 150 vendors selling organic foods, wines, artisan bread, and handicrafts among others).
