The kitchen is accessed off the lounge,a well-equipped space with electric oven and hob,microwave and fridge/freezer. So,when the sun goes down and the day is done you will find a double bedroom on the ground floor,there is also a shower room with shower,WC and washing machine on this floor. Outside there is a patio area to the side of the cottage with table and chairs just perfect for enjoying the sunshine,you are also free to take a stroll through the owners’ grounds. Situated in the small village of St. Briavels 'The Retreat' is perhaps one of the best cottages we have stayed in. The cottage is beautifully presented and has everything you need (and more) for a holiday close to the Forest of Dean and the Wye...More
