Benjy's Gîte Information.

Benjy's is situated on the first floor in one of our two 15th Century outbuildings. It has duel aspect views: the windows at the front look out over the lawn that forms the roadside boundary of the Château, planted with walnut and fruit trees, and hedged with wild rose bushes – at the rear the view is of the Château itself, and its lake and gardens.

You enter into a large room that has an original red tiled floor and beams, and here you get your first glimpse of the wonderful staircase that takes you up to Benjy's.

As you climb the stone stairs, past the refurbished original stone walls, you get a true sense of the age of this wonderful building, an...

We booked Benjy's gite because it promised dog friendly accommodation and unlike some other places advertising the same, this one lived up to that promise. From the moment we arrived, Mandy, Carl and Sam made us and our two Labradors feel welcome, and are excellent...More

How to get there
Airport: Deauville: 80.0 km
Railway: Argentan: 11.0 km
Ferry: Caen: 60.0 km
By Train: Eurostar is very simple and reasonable from London, all the way to Argentan (only 11km away) - there is a train station even closer, in Écouché (3.5km), but not all trains stop there.

By Boat: Other than the quickest option, Caen (60km), we are also only a couple of hours drive from the ports at Cherbourg (150km) or Le Havre (125km).

By Air: There is a decent small airport at Caen (60km), and a larger one at Le Mans (80km), both an easy drive.

Pick-ups and drop-offs can be arranged for an additional fee.
