Courtyard Cottage is a very attractive and beautifully restored 17th century home in the very heart of Topsham. It is in a quiet cobbled courtyard just a few meters from the high street with its charming cafes, shops, restaurants and pubs. The waterfront is only 200 meters away as are the outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. The property is has fairly steep oak stairs and is not suitable for guests with mobility issues. Dogs are welcome but please let me know. The ground floor features a fully equipped quality oak kitchen/dining room with a gas woodburner, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Nespresso, cleaning materials and essentials such as light breakfast, tea, coffee, etc. On the first floor is a comfortable lounge which has a large sofa and TV. The bench in front of the cottage offers a good spot to sit in the sun and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine. It is possible to park in the street within a few meters of the cottage although there is not a designated parking spot and there is a maximum stay of one hour during the day Mon - Sat. Free parking is available in nearby streets and there is a paying car park (free overnight) opposite. The surrounding area is largely flat and can be explored on the two bicycles provided with the cottage. Please note use of bikes is entirely at your own risk.More

The whole area is well known to birdwatchers for its nature reserves. Darts Farm is an easy walk away and offers a quality farm shopping experience. Topsham is within ea...
Getting around
Topsham has excellent transport links. The train station is 400 meters from the cottage and has a regular service to Exeter and Exmouth beach. The bus service is also good and the airport is 10 km away.
