We stayed in this house in Montreal with our extended family in July. We had great weather. We found that the house had plenty of bedrooms and space. The pool table/ping pong table in the basement was a plus. We enjoyed the pool.
The house is older and had several maintenance issues: doors that were tough to close, windows stuck open, drains that wouldn't drain. The owner was responsive, but we had to contact her almost daily. Upon arrival, the house was not terribly clean, but we were compensated for that.
The owner helped us arrange two dinners by a private chef. It was quite a treat.
The house is about a 30 minute drive from downtown Montreal (i.e. the city center where the museums, Old Port, and shopping really is. So if your planning to explore the city be prepared to spend some time commuting.
