Since McLeod House is my home, I like to greet my guests when they arrive and give them a little tour of the apartment along with the keys. Other than this initial meeting, I'm available between 7 AM and 10 PM by phone or text if they have any questions, concerns or need anything. I'm available 24/7 for any emergencies.

I can’t say enough good things about this apartment. Great location, good rates, clean, friendly hostess. There are some stairs to navigate, but the apartment at the top is very much worth it.

The apartment was exceptionally well equipped and ideal for two couples. So many extras!! Jacqueline gave us a very warm welcome and her 'folder' of nearby places, shops and restaurants to visit was very useful and clear. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her. We would certainly recommend staying there.

After a very long and tedious journey after missing our flight at Gatwick we were delighted to finally get to this wonderful apartment and to be met by Jackie who was so welcoming. About the neighbourhood
Just steps from your door is Bank Street which was once the original main street of Ottawa. Lined with restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops it offers a wide variety of foods and merchandise to suit any need or taste. There are three grocery stores, a Starbucks, Tim Hortons, gas station and LCBO within a few blocks radius.

And if you like exploring, Parliament Hill, Chinatown, the Glebe and Elgin Street are just twenty minute strolls away. As are the Museum of Nature, Rideau Centre, the Rideau Canal, Sparks Street Mall and the ByWard Market. You couldn't ask for a better location. Also nearby are OC Transpo transit stops and we are located only three blocks from the Greyhound intercity bus depot which also has service to and from the airport and train station.
Getting around
Many of Ottawa's attractions are within a kilometre radius of the house so the need for a car is optional. The house is easily accessible by transit as well.

Driving east on 417: Take Kent Street Exit and continue north to Gladstone Street. Turn right onto Gladstone and go one block east to Bank Street. Turn right onto Bank and then take your first right onto McLeod Street. #402 is located on your left-hand side just past the condo building.

From Airport: (Driving) Take Airport Parkway until it becomes Bronson Street. Continue north on Bronson until Gladstone Street and then turn right. Continue east on Gladstone until Bank Street and turn right and then right again onto McLeod Stre...
