House Rental
Restored 1940's farmhouse in organic orchard overlooking Vernon. The fields around the house used to be full of Spartan apple trees so we will call it Spartan House ( a small grove of Spartans remain). The house is fully equipped with plenty of space for upto 8 guests. The main floor is open concept with kitchen, dining, living room and entrance area along with a bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. Upstairs has three bedrooms and another full bathroom. There is a large patio off the dining room with a swimming pool available to guests over the summer months and a hot tub throughout the year. The pool deck is private and fenced with a cedar hedge. The front yard is also enclosed with a fence. We are located on 20 acres in the BX area 7 kms outside of Vernon BC. The Grey Canal trail borders the property extending for 50 kms along the hillsides of the valley and is great for biking, hiking, horseback riding and snow shoeing. BX falls is just a 3km hike along the trail from the house. Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre is 20 minutes drive up the hill and Silver Star Mountain Resort is a few minutes beyond that. Okanagan, Kalamalka, Swan lakes and 3 provincial parks are all near by. Sean now operates 'Centred Pilates Studio' in the old packing house on the property and a Cidery with restaurant has recently opened about a kilometre down the road.
