Welcome to your large, comfortable, home away from home, nestled among the evergreens of The Knoll in Silver Star Resort. We welcome guests from all over the world by offering a truly relaxing holiday environment with all the mod cons our guests expect. Truly ski in/ski out home via the Silver Queen Quad Chair with fabulous views of the mountain and chairlifts, easy access to nordic trails, snowshoeing and Tube Town and only a short walk or 3 minute shuttle bus ride from the main village. This is a spacious home offering 3 large double bedrooms (one en suite) in the main house and another double bedroom in the connecting downstairs suite. Truly ski in/ski out home via the Silver Queen Quad Chair with fabulous views of the mountain and chairlifts, easy access to nordic trails, snowshoeing and Tube Town and only a short walk or 3 minute shuttle bus ride from the main village. This is a spacious home offering 3 large double bedrooms (one en suite) in the main house and another double bedroom in the connecting downstairs suite. All the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with cozy bedding, plenty of storage and black out blinds to ensure restful sleep. Three living rooms allow plenty of space for larger groups and the main living room boasts a gas fireplace. The second living room can be converted easily to an additional bedroom and is adjacent to a bathroom. Two fully equipped kitchens make for easy catering, with 2 dining areas seating 10 and 6 people respectively. A total of four bathrooms ensure there are no long queues at busy times of day. Entertainment is provided via 3 flat screen, HDMI enabled TVs, a Blu Ray player and 2 DVD players. Free wi-fi is also on offer. We also have a selection of board games and books. Heated floors add a touch of comfort after a long day on the mountain and all rooms have individual thermostats. Fancy a dip in the private hot tub. It is conveniently located on the covered deck, 2 steps from the kitchen door, so you never need to clear away the snow. The deck also has a high end, large gas barbeque. There is parking for up to 6 cars on two driveways. Two spacious entryways provide both exterior secure ski lockers and interior storage for boots, helmets, jackets etc. We have guests who return year after year and we are more than happy to share their feedback on the house. Silver Star Mountain Resort is open from November to April for winter sports and July to September for hiking, biking, and wine and beer festivals. It is conveniently located 20 minutes from Vernon. Security or Damage Deposit A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 CAD is due 28 days prior to arrival. When warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 7 days of departure. Pet Policy, Deposit and Fees Pets are allowed. One-time fee of 50.00 CAD (+GST & PST) for stays of any number of nights or occupants. (Charged Per pet.) Pets allowed:Cat, Dog A guest must request this optional service. NOTE: Persons traveling with and requiring a Service Animal have special rights and must be granted access regardless. Cleaning on Departure Cleaning on Departure is included in the rent Guest is asked to start the dishwasher. Guest is asked to leave soiled linens and towels in the bathtub or shower. If property is left in unreasonable condition, extra cleaning fee will apply. Cleaning During Stay Cleaning/Maid service is included in the rent and occurs every 7 days during a stay. Linen Linen is included in the rent (towels, bedding and kitchen linen) Parking Parking is free. Property is near water. Okanagan Lake is a 30 minute drive/taxi from the property. There is no beach. There is no dock, moorage or float anchor. Snow Skiing and Boarding Ski/Board Out is a 1 minute walk to a downhill run from the property. Ski/Board In is a 1 minute walk to the property. Ski in/out access by crossing the street directly outside the house. Internet Service Broadband Internet and full cable tv Password is in the check-in package.. Telephone Fee Phone use is included in the rent. Local calls only Outbound long distance calls are restricted to a calling card, collect calls or toll free numbers. Property Heat/Elec/Energy Fee The heat and electricity is included in the rent. There is no fee charged. Hot Tub Service and Fee Hot tub heating is included in the rent. Please note that the hot tub is not generally available during the summer but can be opened up at the guest's expense. Please enquire for further information. This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date. A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request. Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, pets permitted. Check in is 4pm and Check out is 10am. Please adhere to these times, as the cleaning service need to turn the home around for the next guests. If you require early check in or late check out, do please enquire at time of booking.
