The apartment of the old church was a really nice place to stay! Kaeley gave us many tips to enjoy the local shops (cider, beer, organic farms...) We were also welcomed with 12 eggs from her spouse's chicken! Great!

I loved the location. It was ideal for the event we were attending and loved being able to hike to the lake daily. It was great that they took pets and the size of the place was just what we needed. Spent a few days staying here and it was the right place at the right price. Quiet rural area but within a short drive to downtown Victoria. The rental was clean and sapcious and had all the amenities that we required for a few days getaway. The owner is friendly and unobtrusive. We will be back again.

Walk to Elk/Beaver Lake 10 km regional trails which is off leash for dogs. John Dean Park, Bear Hill Park, Prospect Lake, Island View Park, Gowland Todd Park are all within a 5-10 minute drive. 5 min drive to Cordova Bay beach. 800 m walk to Mosi Italian Bakery and Deli. 5 minute drive to Symphony Vineyards, Todd Creek Cider or DeVine Vineyards. 500m walk to Prospect Lake District Community Hall (for weddings or events).
Getting around
Car is best, but bring your bikes as we are on the major cyclist route for the lower island. You can also cycle to Hartland for the best mountain/downhill riding around Victoria.
