Stunning updated circa 1930's Arts and Crafts mansion located in central Victoria, British Columbia. Minutes from downtown and the harbour, Camosun College and the University of Victoria and Hillside Shopping Centre. One of the most centrally located properties in the city, the 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom fully equipped apartment has been fully updated in August 2013. MOST EVERYTHING IS BRAND NEW! The interior has been fully painted, the carpets replaced and cork floor offers warm and inviting comfort in the kitchen and bath area. The apartment is located on the top floor of the mansion (24 stairs up so may not be suitable for elderly guests or young children). About the neighbourhood
Located in central Victoria with immediate access to transit, yet in a very quiet area on Mount Tolmie. The local is second to none, with access to downtown and the harbour area in 10 mins or less, Camosun College, Hillside Shopping Mall, and the Royal Jubilee Hospital are all within minutes of this stunning rental. The University of Victoria is only 5 minutes away. Great shopping, small intimate dining establishments all dot this terrific inner city neighbourhood.
Getting around
I always recommend to my clients that they rent a car when visiting Victoria because they're so many areas to see outside of the central core that a car just makes traveling the area so much easier. However if renting a car is not in your plans the local Transit is literally a three-minute walk from the home. It's frequent because it's the university route so you rarely wait more than 5 or 6 minutes for a bus to take you downtown to the core in less than 10 minutes.
