Wonderful apartment. Couldn't have asked for more...
The apartment was immaculate when we arrived, with a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. It was in an ideal location for exploring Vancouver in all it's glory (via the number 4 bus to downtown). Toni and Bob were helpful, friendly and on hand with tips about places to eat and things to do. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to others.

Fantastic holiday suite, couldn't be faulted and couldn't have asked for better hosts.
This holiday suite exceeded all our expectations. The suite was fresh, clean, modern and had everything you could ask for and more. The hosts, Toni & Bob, were very welcoming and helpful, with Toni sharing homemade granola, muffins and dessert with us…yum! And Bob helping us to download a map for our GPS using his computer was much appreciated. Only suggestion would be if local TV were available besides cable. Otherwise everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would rate this accommodation as the best out of the seven places we stayed during our trip to Canada. Thank you Toni & Bob!

Excellent Hospitality & Very Clean Accomodation
Obtained higher value for money. Transport to do shopping for our groceries as well as to my conference venue was beyond what we paid for. Thank you very much Toni and Bob for your excellent hospitality. The property was very clean and there were welcoming flowers everywhere in the Suite. Would definitely stay again.

Neat and tidy in a convenient location. Perfect
This is my second stay in the Myrtle Suite and I enjoyed my stay as much as I did the first time. As a craftsman myself, the first thing I notice about the apartment is the quality of the work that went into the place including touches like: heated bathroom floors, high end fixtures and faucets, pocket doors, great appliances, washer and dryer, etc. I have stayed in many rentals over the years, and they have it just right here. The place is spotless. The kitchen has everything you need and just enough equipment so that you want for nothing while still having room for your own belongings and food. I was working in Burnaby, and I could get on highway 1 in minutes which made for a quick commute. Very convenient location. Heading up to Whistler/Blackcomb was a favorite day trip during this years stay. Highly recommended.

A Home Away from Home
After an exhausting move I found myself in between possession days and decided to try Myrtle Suite for a few days. Bob and Toni are terrific hosts and I could not have felt more at home. The suite is full of lovely homey touches; fresh flowers from the garden and a kitchen stocked with all the basics and more. It’s in a great location with mountain and water views, lots of places to walk, have coffee or dine out and downtown Vancouver is only a quick bus ride away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Myrtle Suite.

WOW! a really great place to stay
My wife is a clean freak and Toni and Bob Shaw's suite passed her test with flying colors. We knew the neighborhood a little bit from visiting Vancouver before. I just didn't realize all the great spots for dining and shopping were so close. Toni made detailed comments on a number of places that we might like and she was a perfect 10 for choices.
The little restaurants are abundant and food choices too numerous to mention. From fancy to inexpensive Toni's reviews were a hit.
You can tell how much Toni likes her suite. She even uses 650 (TC) Egyptian cotton sheets on the bed. Talk about luxurious - they are wonderful.
I can't express how great a time we had with these people. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we stopped in the driveway.
I would certainly recommend this suite in a super quiet neighborhood.

A super property - well equipped - a real "home from home"
Toni and Bob are excellent hosts and attentive to their guests' needs without being in their face. Myrtle Suite has its own parking space at the rear of the property and guests are welcome to utilise Toni and Bob's back garden for relaxation, as well as enjoying their home-grown herbs and tomatoes! Bob let us store our bicycles in his secure garden shed and gave us our own key. The Internet is high speed and, on the one and only occasion that we had a problem, Bob resolved this very quickly. No need to bring towels or sheets, Toni supplies everything. The washing machine and dryer in Myrtle Suite were a very practical asset. The location is really interesting.......not in the epicentre of downtown Vancouver but close to it - a 15 minute easy drive in the car (Toni told us that it was also an easy bus ride but we didn't try it as the car was more convenient for us getting to and from Stanley Park, with our bikes in the car). The property is part of an established community, located close to the water and with a mixture of urban and mountain views. We walked to a great part of outer-town....Commercial Drive......where you will find a wonderful array of restaurants and shops, frequented by the local community. In summary, if you enjoy experiencing a city as the locals experience it, this is a great choice. If you feel more comfortable being right in the heart of a city, with all the tourist attractions within a 10 minute walk, better to stay in one of the large hotels in town. We think that Myrtle Suite is a real gem.

Exceeded Expectations
This apartment was immaculate with a well-equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer. The owners were super helpful with any questions about the community or sight-seeing and even supplied us with homemade granola and muffins. They even invited us to a yummy dinner upstairs. The apartment was quiet, comfortable and we felt completely at home.

Excellent!!!
Everything was was delightful, the apartment is cheery and well stocked with the things you may need (e.g. linens, knives, can openers). Toni, Bob and PePe were lovely hosts and very helpful. My daughter loved the beautiful garden and still asks to go play at Miss Toni's house daily. If we are ever in Vancouver again we will be back!

Great apartment, highly recommended and would stay again
Really enjoyed staying here, nice quiet neighbourhood and Toni was a great host. The apartment is well serviced and spotlessly clean. You have the luxuries of a hotel but the space and privacy of your own apartment with your own access. There wasn't anything missing or anything we would change.

Central Location!
Enjoy easy access by car or transit to surrounding area sights and activities.
Myrtle Suite is a short walk to bus routes; near several bike routes. There is neighbourhood shopping a 15 minute walk from the suite, featuring restaurants, delis, grocery, bakeries, drug store, banks, community centre and other amenities. This is a vibrant neighbourhood and retains a lovely charm and history in an absolutely spectacular setting!
Getting around
We are just two blocks from local public bus transport - and it's a 20 minute bus ride to Gastown and into central downtown Vancouver where you can connect to go just about anywhere.
It is about 10 blocks up to our local 'high street', East Hastings Street, where you'll find all manner of shops, cafes and restaurants.
By car, we're about 10 minutes into downtown, 5 minutes to Highway 1, 40 minutes from the Airport, 50 minutes to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal and 30 minutes to the Horseshoe Bay Ferry.
