Recently refurbished and decorated, Oat cottage is a stunning cottage with a garden area and off road parking for 2 cars. situated on an old farm in a very quiet part of the sussex countryside , yet easily accessible to many well known locations and close to Lewes and Brighton. The cottage is well equipped with a dishwasher , washing machine and microwave , as well as wifi. Both bedrooms have en suites , the double has a bathroom with shower over , and the large single bedroom has a shower, both have wc.

We stayed here from 17th June 2017 to 24th June 2017. The cottage had everything to make our stay very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of utensils and crocs. Very quiet in the countryside but close enough to get to Hailsham with shops,...More

About the neighbourhood
Very close to many national trust properties , great cycling routes and walks . If you want a stay where you can enjoy the countryside and take time out in London , before heading to the coast for a day out , then this is the place to be.
Trains from Lewes to London Victoria take 1 hour , and are every 20 minutes. Parking is easy , so you can enjoy a full day in the city.
We have a riding school at the end of the road , and many local farm shops. The lane is very quiet , so a stroll along the lane and footpath to the pub at night is very pleasant.

Ferry: Newhaven: 15.0 km
Located off the A22 take the East Hoathly round about, just after Halland, and head into the village. Turn left at Clara s book shop, pass the Kings Head on the right . Carry on until just after the right bend , then turn right, to Graywood/Chiddingly. At the T junction turn LEFT. Take the next right turn, into Stalkers lane. Carry on approx. 1 mile , we are located just after left bend in road , and red post box on right , turn right after Holdens farm ( our house) into Granary cottages.
