an amazing spot not to miss
I've been there last July, the house amenities are A class, amazing view, great pool, extremely comfortable for adults and kids. Food is available as well, tried few dishes and were very nice. it's a place once you arrive there, you do not want to go anywhere else. there are nice spots to visit on the island too, so if you look for relaxing holiday, it's the place to go. look no further.

Unforgettable and comfortable villa in a beautiful landscape
Lord Jim Retreat is a beautiful villa overlooking the sea in a breathtaking setting,
Surrounded by lush vegetation this home has lots of charm and will not leave anyone indifferent. All rooms have their identity, they are comfortable and well appointed. It is an idyllic place to relax and / or get together with family or friends. The young couple who takes care of this little corner of paradise is as discreet as friendly. Meals and breakfasts are delicious, fresh and divine nights. We will return :)

Yes, Paradise exists and I touched it
Sometimes it's great to have some break in life. Ljr is one of the most compelling place I have ever enjoyed.
Not only place is beautiful, but this estate add up to the beauty and offers a comfort you cannot find easily in this area.

Koh Phangan best private villa: flawless!
The little road which leads us to this eagle nest is quite steep but once you reach the place... just a big WHOAO!
It is our 3rd visit to Koh Phangan, and this villa is without any doubt the most amazing place of the whole island. Very comfortable, designed with a lot of taste, and interesting antique stuff from Burma.
A pool that is a real swimming pool: 18 meters long!
Nice in-house staff, a helpful couple who can cook some delicious Thai dishes.
Worth the price!

Few days in Paradise
We went there with the aim to stay in a nice house and to discover the island as well. But this place is so nice that we went to the nearby beach only once and spent the rest of our stay within the property, feeling like at home. There is a huge pool, plenty of room to sit back and relax and, last but not least, the food is delicious and prepared by a very nice staff, who made our stay memorable. Why bother to go elsewhere?

A magic stay in this 5 stars villa !
We spent a week there last August with our friends (6 adults and 3 children).
Really breathtaking! Aerial views.
A stunning place by all means: location, design, comfort, privacy,...
Lovely and helpful staff.
We recommend it and would love to go back again one day soon!

- The Samui route:
The nearest airport is Koh Samui Airport (on the nearby island). It has frequent flights from Bangkok and Phuket.
There are also daily flights from Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. You can buy express boat tickets to Thong Sala (Koh Phangan's main pier) at Koh Samui Airport transportation counter.
Two speedboat companies operate daily: Seatran (from Big Buddha pier - 5mn from Samui airport) and Lomphraya Catamaran (from Maenam Beach pier). The first boat starts around 8:00am, the last leaves Koh Samui at around 4:30pm. The journey takes around 30mn.
- The Surat Thani route:
You can also reach Koh Phangan from mainland.
The nearest airport is Surat Thani. You will then take a speed boat from Don Sak, the ferry terminal. It is located 65km east of Surat Thani Airport (go there from airport by taxi or bus). Lomprayah Catamaran and Seatran are the main operators for high speed boats. Raja ferry operates Car Ferry boats 5 times per day from and to Koh Phangan. The journey lasts from 1:30 to 2:45 hours depending boats.

Lord Jim Retreat is located on the green Northern coast of Koh Phangan, 15 kms north from the main city and harbour Thong Sala.
2 kms west from the picturesque fishermen village of Chaloklum, leave the main road and take a 500m dirt road which leads you to our Beach, Haad Thong Lang, and uphill to our Paradise.
We can arrange free pick up at the Thong Sala pier when you arrive.
