This end terrace cottage sits in a quiet street in the centre of the town, just yards from the picturesque canal basin with its colourful boats. The canal towpath runs by, offering miles of easy walking surrounded by the Peak District countryside. Set over three floors, the front entry to the property is on the middle floor where there is a modern lounge with a cosy wood burning stove. Downstairs the dining kitchen with access via a barn door to the paved rear patio with garden furniture, whilst upstairs are the two comfy bedrooms and toilet. Close to the beautiful Goyt Valley, one of the Peak District's undiscovered gems, this is an area of spectacular high moorland and interesting market towns. Lovely cottage, very spacious. We stayed for 4 nights with our daughter and dog. The cottage is in a fantastic location, next to the canal with lovely walks, 2 minutes from pubs and take aways and Tesco is only a few minutes away. Would love...More

In the centre of Whaley Bridge turn off the main road A5004 opposite the train station and follow the road immediately round to the left (running parallel with the main road). On the right hand side you will see a small row of shops. At the end of the shops turn right down narrow Chapel Street. Honeysuckle Cottage is on the right hand side, up some stone steps
