About the neighbourhood
There are numerous places worth a visit whilst you are on holiday at Victoria Lodge. A trip to Snowdonia is not complete without a visit to Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. There are several walks to the summit, it takes about 5 hours. A less strenuous way is to book a ticket on the narrow gauge railway which you board at Llanberis . There is a visitor centre at the summit. If you cant wait to see it in person, you can view it on line via BBC webcam.

Portmerion is an Italian inspired village on the coast, well worth a visit, about 20 minutes away from Victoria Lodge by car, they also have a webcam so you can see it before you go.There is Dolwyddelan castle, and you get fantastic views of the area from there. Gwydir castle in Llanrwst is 15 mins away. Waterfalls are at Swallow...
Getting around
Our village has an unmanned railway station, the trains run every 3 hours. So if you fancy a trip you will have to flag the train down to pick you up. You travel through some fantastic scenery whether it be just a couple of stops to Betws y coed or further afield.
