Mazotos Holiday Villa Iris is a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom villa with private pool located on a tranquil location of Mazotos coastline just a few steps from the beach offering beautiful sea views of Mazotos Bay.
The ground floor features an open plan living room, dining area decorated with modern furniture, comfortable sofa, large flat-screen TV, dining table for 8 persons and a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances. On this level, there is also a bedroom with a double bed and a shower room with toilet.
The large glass doors open wide to join the inside with outside pool patio and garden offering beautiful sea views from both from the inside as well as from the outside pool area which is equipped with modern rattan furniture, sunbeds, parasol and BBQ.

Not bad.... maybe lacking in character
An hours drive from Larnaca airport, you’ll find this villa in a purpose built complex of similarly plain/bland villas not far from the camel park. The villa is spacious with decent sized bedrooms and bathrooms and a large open plan lounge/ dining area. The kitchen is fairly well equipped and you get the feeling that as more people stay there will be more implements left behind!
The patio area is nice getting the full sun in the morning and keeping a good blend of shade and sun throughout the day. The pool is rather small given the potential for 8 people and if you go swimming you’ll find little biting ants frequent the pool (yes, really!) resulting in getting out with multiple bites! The sea is a stone’s throw (Olympian stone thrower maybe but you get he drift) and was beautifully warm when we went in September.
So all in all “OK”, a functional if plain villa. But you’ll find yourself wondering if there isn’t somewhere better for the money. There’s really very little to do, few places to eat, an “ok” supermarket and nowhere really to go for a walk. There are definitely better areas of Cyprus and also more appealing villas; it was a relaxing week but I won’t be rebooking any time soon.
