About the neighbourhood
Paxos is the smallest of all Ionian Islands; located around 6km south of Corfu it is only accessible via boat. At around 12km long and 2km wide Paxos is a small and easy to navigate island. The East coast consists of 3 ports and many, many beaches and coves. All three of the ports - Gaios, Lakka and Loggo - are charming; bustling bars, cafe's, restaurants and shops. The west coast is dominated by steep white, chalky cliffs and many 'blue caves'. The 'blue caves' can be explored on launches departing from Gaios. Much of the attractive landscape is still covered in olive groves.
Getting around
Paxos offers a range of transportation options.

There are 5 taxis on Paxos as well as a bus that operates on a daily schedule between Gaios, Lakka and Loggos and multiple car / scooter / quad bike operators.

If you want to hire a scooter [50cc, 125cc, 250cc] you need an international motor bike license. If you want to hire a car or quad bike you need an international motor vehicle license. There are a range of cars available for hire; small compact through larger and Jimmy Jeeps.
