Recenttly completed villa/gite situated on the edge of the 'perched village' of Gattieres on 16 k from Nice and close to Nice Cote d'Azur Airport. This bright and modern villa has been decorated to a high standard and has a new fully fitted kitchen. The first bedroom has a doulbe bed and offers stunning views of the med and the hills and mountains. The second bedroom offering the same stunning views can be made up as a double or twin room. There is a large and modern wetroom with power shower. To the front of the property is a large lounge kitchen/dinner on open plan with patio doors leading onto a sunny terrace. You can again enjoy the amazing views from the terrace taking advantage of this peaceful location but yet are only a short drive from the coast and the main motorways. This is a great base for exploring the area both along the coast and the hinterland. Within easy reach of the mountain/ski resorts of Isola 2000 and Auron there is truly something for everyone. We do provide an nformation folder but please feel free to request any specific information before arrival if required or during your stay. I can offer evening meals and menu and price list is available on request. Particularly popular for late arrivals. A welcome pack is provided but if you require shopping to be brought in simply e-mail a list and you can pay on arrival.

A wonderful, perfectly equipped apartment in an idyllic setting. Jacqueline was so very helpful even down to transporting us to pick up our car rental. The 2 restaurants in Gattieres are different but equally good, and we had our morning coffee in the perfect little...More

The apartment was very well equiped and a lovely position a short drive from Nice. Our ost were very welcoming without be intrusive. We would look to visit again for a short break.

It has all been said before and we would completely concur. Comfortable,clean,modern inside but traditional views and village outside. Good location for visiting hill villages,Italy/St.Tropez and anywhere in between via the peage,Nice,Cannes,Antibes .... the list goes on and on. Not forgetting Gattieres itself. Characterful village...More

About the neighbourhood
The sea and the mountains are easily accesible as are the ski resorts of Isola 2000 and Auron. Located in a perfect spot for exploring the region. Situated only a few minutes walk from the village, shops and restaurants are close by.
Getting around
I would recommend having a car if you want to explore the region. Ideally situated for easy access to the motorway in direction Cannes/St Tropez and east towards Monaco and Italy. There is a main line railway station at St Laurent du Var with services in both directions approximately every 30 minutes. There are daytime buses from the village.
