Holiday Rental House
New owners Becs and Sarah Hudson would like to offer you a warm welcome to Tritchayne Farm Cottages, our self-catering holiday cottages in the beautiful East Devon countryside. The cottages sit within a pretty courtyard with their own fenced gardens in an area of outstanding natural beauty, three miles from the sea and one mile from the historical rebel town of Colyton with its range of shops, pubs and electric tramway to Seaton and the seaside! The cottages can be booked individually, sleeping 2 to 5 adults or as a group sleeping 18 adults. The five cottages are designed with comfort and relaxation in mind and each has its own distinctive character with little personal touches to make you feel at home. They are superbly fitted out for a comfortable and relaxing stay with all the luxuries...New owners Becs and Sarah Hudson would like to offer you a warm welcome to Tritchayne Farm Cottages, our self-catering holiday cottages in the beautiful East Devon countryside. The cottages can be booked individually, sleeping 2 to 5 adults or as a group sleeping 18 adults. The five cottages are designed with comfort and relaxation in mind and each has its own distinctive character with little personal touches to make you feel at home. They are superbly fitted out for a comfortable and relaxing stay with all the luxuries of home including comfy beds, wood burning stoves, good Wi-Fi, docking station, television, barbecue and garden furniture. All cottages have both baths and showers and are stocked with soaps, toiletries and fluffy white towels. The four larger cottages have full kitchens covering all your self-catering needs with oven, hob, microwave, dish washer, fridge freezer, washing machine and all the necessary utensils. The smaller Hay Loft, perfect for a romantic stay for two, has a convection oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. The cottage grounds are a lovely place to relax and recharge the batteries. The highlight is the beautiful mature pond area which you can enjoy from the comfort of the decking area or glasshouse. Next to the pond is a small newly planted orchard and herb and flower garden, another tranquil place to sit and soak up the calm and peace of the countryside. There are dining tables and sun loungers for guest use, and a drying area for clothes. Dogs are very welcome in all of the cottages. There is a large field with amazing view of the Coly Valley and lovely local walks to enjoy from the cottages and into Colyton. On your arrival you’ll find a welcome pack of the essentials: tea, coffee, sugar and milk as well as a surprise Devonshire treat! There are basic supplies such as olive oil, salt and pepper, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. There are two large dining areas, perfect for group bookings who want to all eat together. The al fresco option in the courtyard or the indoor option in the glasshouse. The glasshouse is the latest addition to the facilities and is equipped with a table seating 20, simple kitchen, its own double burner gas barbecue and a large deck overlooking the pond; a perfect place for a family gathering. If a group books all the cottages then the glasshouse is for their personal use. Otherwise the glasshouse offers another place to rest and relax for all the guests.More
