Pegauret is located in the heart of the Perigord Noir, famous for its mediaeval castles, wide rivers and rolling, tree covered hills. The house faces south and is orientated around the patios and swimming pool. It is constructed in traditional style with a pigeonnaire tower and a large open fire place. The house is set back from a quiet road that leads through a wooded valley to the Dordogne river, which is within walking distance. Bathing and canoeing are within a few minutes drive,as is the delightful town of Le Bugue, where local markets and street cafes combine with a beautiful river setting.

A superb house in a wonderful rural setting. We travelled as a party of 9, across 3 generations, and found everything we could have wanted. The house is well maintained, with every amenity you could require to hand.
