    About the neighbourhood
    Pedi is a small beachfront settlement in the northeast part of the island of Symi, just 3 km from Symi harbor. The bay of Pedi is surrounded by multi coloured houses and the rough barren rocks that give Symi its rugged, coarse character. The pebble beach is fairly organized, with sun loungers and umbrellas and its crystal clear waters of the cove are perfect for swimming. You can also find mini markets and small convenience shops, as well as some traditional Greek tavernas right on the shorefront, where you can taste local delicacies and freshly caught fish and seafood. Taxi boats are always available to accompany you to the most attractive spots of the island.

    Airport: Rhodes International Airport : 32.0 km
    Ferry: Symi port: 1.5 km
    You can reach the island of Symi by travelling to the island of Rhodes, either by air or by sea. From Rhodes Island, there is daily transport by either ship or catamaran and the trip lasts approximately one hour. The island is also connected by sea with most of the Dodecanese islands, Tilos, Kos, Leros, Kalymnos, Nisyros, Astypalaia, Patmos, as well as Mykonos and Syros. Some changes of the routes and schedules may apply, so make sure to double check your desired ferry schedule beforehand.

    Pedi cove is located approximately 3km to the east of the Gialos, the town of Symi and it is easily accessible by car, taxi, bus or even on foot. You can find a taxi at the main harbour’s entrance and on the beachfront street of Gialos.
