The Himalayas facing and traffic free property that sits at an altitude of about 2000 meters is 60 km from Kathgodam . The Duplex apartment of 1800 sqft has 2 BR + spacious D/D + equipped kitchen + lounge room + balcony+ front/back yards and a Full Time Care taker who can also cook delightful meals for you. Enjoy the scenic environs and have a great holiday!
The apartment is totally private and in peaceful surroundings with plenty of forest trails and orchards around. You would love to rejuvenate yourselves in this beautiful and peaceful ambiance that even a week would seem too short.

beautiful place, a must visit
we stayed @viewtiful for few days in June, it's it's beautiful property with a peach tree blooming with fruits, excellent and comfortable place for family, the owner, Manta ji is very pleasant and helpful person, the caretaker virendra is also very good and keeps the place neat and tidy, would like to come back soon....tks for everything Mamta ji

Amazing place for family bonding
Home away from home. great place for family bonding. Cook will prepare delicious food right in front of you in an open kitchen while you spend quality time with family. Do not spend time in front of TV, rather spend time trekking while your cook becomes your house keeper and guide. Very supportive host couple right from the time you plan. No need to carry raw material for kitchen because the local market is fully stocked for your kitchen needs. Liquor is expensive, try and carry your stuff. Go and enjoy your stay :)

A Rejuvenating Experience
Viewtiful homestay, a place in the lap of nature, away from the hubbub of the city. The view from the place was awe inspiring.. Spacious house, can easily accommodate at least 8 people. Gryffindor common room styled stairs lead to an additional accomodation, with a book shelf filled with an array of books. The cook cum caretaker Virendra serves sumptuous meals and takes care of everything with a smile. The only problem is the approach to the cottage, which is a bit difficult for the elderly to climb..

It's a very short approach to the apartment and in the hills the 20 odd steps were unavoidable but still we will see what can be done even more.

Great place to stay. Clean and great host
We had booked this property for two nights. We loved it so much that we ended up extending it tp one more night. The property is clean and away from the road. This property is good for two couples for a tranquil holiday.

Terrible, owner is full of lies !
I was driving from Gurgaon and got stuck up in traffic around 12 noon in ranibagh/bhimtal area.
So as a courtesy i called the homestay to let them know i am atleast 2 hours late.
To my surprise, the lady told me that i shouldn’t even come as there is no room available. She claimed that she had informed me and MMT, however - i didn’t received any mail or call. When i called MMT hotline they said the property owner is not responding and they also couldn't do a conference call with her.
And me, stuck in jungle 20km before mukteshwar had to return to gurgaon with sad face.
Both MMT customer servise and Owner of homestay let me down . They made a fool out of me.
I think MMT should black list such property owners.
It was a terrible experience as i was with my family.
Had she informed me a day back that they dont have room when i had made advanced booking, i would'nt even drove to mukteshwar.

Dear Hammad,
As much as I am sorry about your ordeal what you say is quite untrue. I had told you at the outset that the dates were not available and I had also called MMT to take necessary action. You were insistent inspite of my advice that you would take up the matter with MMT.
Then suddenly you inform me that you are on your way ... I again told you that the place was occupied and took up the matter with MMT who appeared to have misled you all the time.
Viewing your situation, as a good Samaritan I offered you an alternate accommodation but you were insistent that you would only stay at our place which was out of the question as there were already guests there.
As much as I am sorry about your ordeal I think you annoyance is misdirected for it was MMT that misled you not us.

Very bad experience even before stay
Don't book this homestay that's called viewtiful as after getting a confirmed booking through a travel app , we had to return from the mid way as when we called on the contact details provided by the travel app , the concerned lady said that the rooms are not vacant and they have extended the stay of the previous booking without informing us the previous day......

Dear Sweta,
I am sorry about your ordeal but I have already responded to your friend Hammad's review on this.
You had been informed by me that the property was occupied but you chose to be misled by MMT. Alternate accommodation offered by me as a good samaritan was turned down...what else could I do?
Regret your experience but your anger is misdirected... I have already complianed to MMT about this and asked them to take me out of their site.

Real home away from home.
It is really a VIEWTIFULL HOME. It has everything what a visitor expect from a homestay. Peaceful, Spacious, good food, view from rooms, everything was perfect. Whole family enjoyed a lot. Thanks Mamta ji, Thanks Virender.

Excellent stay
Everything about this place is worth praising...the views of valley and hills, sunrise, clean toilets and rooms with good linen, the caretaker Virendra who is more than you can imagine as your help and guide, important equipment in kitchen and furniture etc.. Except for the approach which is little tricky at first but easily motorable road of around 1.5km from main road, there is no signage indicating turns.. it's around 7kms from main Mukteshwar town which is in itself very small place...I'll highly recommend this place for a peaceful and unique experience..

Viewtiful beautiful home stay
This place is amazing as it mentions
We stayed for 4 nights and wehad great time .
View from all the rooms are incredible . If no rains we could see himlayan range right from balcony . Even the valley view is gorgeous.
The place gives you a very homely feel.
It's superbly clean .
Food is good and very cost effective.

Best Peaceful Stay
This homestay is exactly like what it name says.
With great valley view and beautiful home, it is best we found in mukhteshwar.
Two big rooms, Two big halls and Two hygienic and clean washroom make this homestay best for even 12 person group stay.
The owner guide you well before your stay starts and caretaker is exactly like what you dream of always which we never get in our metro cities.
Caretaker take care of your whole cooking and cleaning thing. All you have to tell your wishes before and he will fulfill it.
You can cook by yourself too for which everything is available here.
Major spots like chauli ki jali mukhteshar temple (are together)and bhalugaad waterfall is just 8km from here.
Market is also nearer to it if you plan to buy something.
Overall just an amazing stay .
