This property enjoys a quiet location in the small village of Bircham Tofts,just outside the larger village of Great Bircham. The village boasts an historic windmill which is open to the public who can admire the views from the top,and also houses a cafe which is a lovely place to stop for tea and cakes. The area around the village offers many opportunities for interesting and fun day trips,including to the beaches at Heacham and Hunstanton,and the beautiful country house estates at Sandringham and Houghton Hall. At one end of the room,the lounge area has two large inviting sofas which are positioned so as to allow guests to enjoy both the warmth from the wood burner and the TV/DVD. The dining area occupies the centre of this impressive space,beyond which the kitchen has been finished in a sleek,contemporary style and offers an excellent range of equipment including an oven,hob,microwave,fridge,freezer,and dishwasher,as well as a marble-topped island. The washing machine and tumble dryer meanwhile,can be found tucked out of the way in a hallway cupboard. Two bedrooms can also be found on the ground floor,both of which are accessed from the property’s main hallway. The first of these is a stunning master bedroom suite boasting a king-size bed,an en-suite bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC,and a spacious dressing room which can be used as a separate seating area,ideal for quiet relaxing with a good book. The second bedroom on this floor is a fantastic room for younger guests,a triple room with a single bed and a set of bunks. Next to this room,the marbled tiled bathroom offers a shower-over-bath and WC. On the first floor of the property there are two further bedrooms: a super-king-size room which can be made up as a twin on request,and a twin room,both of which have sloping beamed ceilings and therefore some areas of reduced head-height. A cloakroom with WC can also be found on the first floor,as well as a spacious built-in wardrobe on the landing. Outside,the property benefits from a private,enclosed garden with a patio seating area overlooking a generously-sized lawn. Garden furniture and a BBQ are provided,and the shed can be used to store bicycles. There is off-road parking on the driveway for two cars. More
