Le Martinet is a luxurious two bedroom gite which can be adapted to suit your needs. The property will sleep 6 in comfort, and is situated within easy reach of Villefranche du Conflent. It is a super location for walkers and cyclist. The area is the area which is in historical sites and natural wonders. Otherwise an excellent location for just relaxing in the beautiful courtyard, enjoying an al-fresco meals ideal for the overstressed.

The property is a perfect size for a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a small family. The open plan living area on the ground floor is light and airy and leads via a wooden staircase to the upper floor where the bedrooms and bathroom are situated.

This was a nice place to live to discover the Canigou and other landscapes of the Pyrénées Orientales, we enjoyed it! Maybe a good opportunity too to try to improve your English if English is not your language!

The ground floor is devoted completely to the large open plan living area (consisting of kitchen, dining and sitting areas).

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. The cupboards are stocked with all the basic necessities (such as salt, pepper, herbs, spices and oils) and also the necessary cleaning products.

The dining area accommodates 6 people and is ideal for entertaining in an informal manner

The comfortable seating area seats 6 persons and includes TV, DVD and CD player. TV reception in French and English is provided along with an internet connection in case you need to stay up-to-date with things whilst you are away.

About the neighbourhood
Fuilla is a very peaceful, typical village of the region. It benefits from being located so close to the Canigou mountain giving walkers and cyclists a great starting point for some fantastic tours. So why not give it a go and walk to Pic du Canigou!

The house is a short drive (4 km) from the recently nominated UNESCO world heritage site of Villefranche-de-Conflent. Fuilla also benefits from a small cafe just a short walk away. There is also a grocery store in the nearby village of Sahorre, which is easy walk or bike ride (available on site), so it’s easy to forget about the car for a few days, relax and unwind. It also has easy access to the main road between Perpignan and Andorra which allows the surrounding area to be explored very easily.

If you would like to leave your car and take public transport, there are both trains and and buses from Villefranche under 3 ks away, there is also a local bus a few times a day!
Both method of transport are only 1 euro each,
So you could go to Perpiganan for a euro (45ks)!
