Set in the beautiful, historic village of St. Siffret, the house is in the heart of the village, yet still has open views from its terraces. The house is built into the rock the village stands on with the oldest part of the house dating back to the early 18th century. At the end of a quiet lane (access only to residents) La Maison du Rocher allows you to enjoy the splendour of Uzes whilst staying in a beautiful village only minutes away. Mark and George invite you to stay at their home in their independent studio. . Located at the side of the property, by the pool, the studio has its own private access, own large terrace with sun beds and use of pool. Uzes is internationally famous for its absolute and gloriously preserved grandeur. Allow yourself to get lost in its streets and it will open its secrets such as its impressive Duchy, its baroque-type Cathedral and Eglise St-Etienne. The striking 'Place aux Herbes' lies in the centre of the town with its vaulted arcades, its many restaurants and its renowned Provençal market twice a week.

Festivals are held in all villages and towns throughout the summer and all types of outdoor activities are available nearby. In summer there is also the famous bull run through the streets of Uzes. Be sure to discover the Gardon gorges just 6 kilometres away which not only offer a dramatic landscape but also the option of kayaking to the Pont du Gard and beaches for swimming.
