A delightful one bedroomed, 1st floor annex in a beautiful old farmhouse conversion. The property is 15 to 20 mins walk or short drive from the ancient Roman town of Corbridge and 5 min drive from Hexham. Ideal for exploring the popular Tyne Valley and nearby Roman heritage sites.

The property sits within the farmhouse courtyard up wooden steps, with garage parking and a small veranda for summer evenings.

The large lounge and dining area is open plan with a double sofa bed, widescreen WiFi TV and stunning views over the valley. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, microwave and nespresso coffee machine.

King size bed in the spacious bedroom with a large en-suite including a roll top bath and separate shower cubicle.

Unfortunately the apartment does not accept pets, to ensure it stays allergen free for all guests.

Interaction with guests
Guests should head straight up to the apartment at any time after 3pm on the day of check-in. The key is usually left in the door or in a lock-box just next to the door (the code will be provided on booking), there is no need to check-in with the owner. However, the owners live in the main house to which the apartment is attached and guests should feel free to knock with any problems.

THE Roman sites were incredible, we were out everyday the weather wasn't too bad mixed bright and breezy, cloudy, the apartment was brilliant, clean and quiet we would certainly go there again if we are in the area.

Just a lovely holiday rental- a large flat in a nice farmyard with a good selection of amenities contained within and in an excellent location for exploring Hadrians Wall. There is also a terrace that gets the morning sun and is beautiful for sitting out...More

About the neighbourhood
The apartment is situated on an old farm, long since converted into two properties; Hampstead House and neighbour, White Barns. The apartment is accessed via steps in the courtyard of Hampstead House. It is extremely peaceful, with views of the surrounding countryside through every window. Guests are advised that the short walk to Corbridge does contain a 300metre stretch along the grass verge of the A68 however, which is impractical for prams. A torch at night and sturdy footwear is a good idea!
Getting around
A car is a good idea. There are buses however running frequently from Corbridge in all directions and Corbridge train station will take passengers east into Newcastle in 45 minutes and west to Carlisle in similar time.

Railway: Corbridge Station: 4.0 km
When travelling along the A69 from either direction take the Stagshaw slip road marked A68 Jedburgh and head north up the A68 for less than one minute. Take the very first left turn marked 'Sandhoe 1'. The entrance to the property is the first opening on the right hand side. If you come to locked gates of the back garden you have missed it!
