Situated in a quiet mews of converted farm buildings, The Granary a first floor apartment in the sleepy village of Bampton in the Lake District. It has a king size bed in the bedroom and a fold out single is also available for use in the lounge. The property is surrounded by spectacular scenery. There are stunning views of Knipe Scar from the window seat in the lounge. The apartment is filled with natural light and has a kitchen/lounge, bedroom and bathroom as well as a private garden with lockable bicycle storage and a seating area. Wifi is available.
Although the kitchen is well equipped, there is no freezer. The steps to the front door are steep and may be unsuitable for anyone with significant mobility problems. The spare bed is just a fold out mattress and may be more suitable for a child or for a short stay, although this is, of cou...

We live 10 minutes away from the Granary and aim to be available whenever possible during your stay, should you need anything. However, we will leave you alone to enjoy your stay if you don't need us for anything.

Great location for Haweswater/High Street and surroundings. Very quiet and perfect for a romantic break. The apartment is very cosy, great bathroom and well equipped for all the cooking needs. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. The owners are close by in...More

Clean and snug. Beautiful views and perfect location for Haweswater. Not too far for Keswick either which is a lovely town for a stroll around. Great comms from Charlotte throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The area is served by one bus per week, on a Thursday! Guests have taken a train to Penrith station then a taxi or cycled to the Granary before now. If you love walking, this might suit you, but otherwise, you will find a car very useful.
