Holiday Rental House
Wake up to spotting dolphins - it's happened. Situated bang on the beach at Borth, Mansfield is a great place for a family holiday or group of friends. Walk out of the back door on to the beach as soon as you wake up or come in to a hot shower or Aga warm kitchen after surfing or just enjoy the sunsets or storms. Please note that the bunk beds are really only suitable for children or small adults. Also one of the ensuite bathrooms is actually in the bedroom. One shower room is a wet room on the ground floor. THIS HOUSE SLEEPS 10 - I AM HAVING A PROBLEM CHANGING THE DETAILS - THE TOP ROOM - ATTIC IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO RENT...Wake up to spotting dolphins - it's happened. Interaction with guests
whilst we are not around face to face we are delighted to receive calls before during and after people's stays at the house. We are happy to help with queries about the idiosyncracies of the house, the delights of the local area and are happy to recommend activities and excursions - we have done so many things in the area and there are still places we havent been to yet in over 10 years.

About the neighbourhood
Borth beach is a great shallow shelving beach with acres of space for everyone - The sea can provide rolling waves suitable for kean surfers and even mill-pond calm at times. At low tide there is so much beach that you could easily have a football or cricket match. Borth itself is a traditional British seaside village with a few basic shops, cafes, and a couple of art galleries, Aberystwyth with its supermarkets, specialist shops, promenade and pier, camera obscura, theatre, and sports centre is a 15 minute drive or you can take the train or bus from Borth. Most recently the area is the base for the S4C production of Hinterland/YGwyll which is on S4C now and expected to air on BBC in 2014
How to get there
It is easy by road or rail. the trains from birmingham and beyond arrive in borth about every 2 hours and the station is about half a mile along a strainght flat pavement. We recently visited Harlech castle by train from Machynlleth (where the trains split) - an absolutely stunning train journey along the Cambrian coast. There are also a couple of taxi companies that are easy to hire.
