Once through the front door you will enter the lounge, tastefully furnished with it's heavily beamed ceiling, quality furniture and 32' Panasonic HD TV, flagstone floor and very impressive walk-in inglenook fireplace, incorporating a cast iron wood burning stove for cosy nights in!! To one side of the lounge you have a small dining room and to the other is the inner hall, leading to the downstairs toilet and utility room. The fully equipped kitchen is fitted with quality units, a fan assisted electric oven, four burner gas hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and small breakfast bar with stools. Loved the cottage. Wonderful welcoming basket. Very cosy in the evening with a roaring wood fire. Walk into Stratford along the canel was really good and lovely. Frequent train service very useful. Thinking about staying nearer Christmas at some time in the future.

The village is very sleepy and steeped in history. A railway link to Stratford upon Avon is a real bonus. The cottage is lovely and retains much of the character of its 600 year history. The only reason for not rating as excellent is that...More
