It is close to main 'A' roads yet quiet and rural. The Barn offers a wonderful home from home feel with its quality furnishings and design. Excellently equipped with a large kitchen and living space which is ideal to relax in. A great base which has flexibility to accommodate families, couples, grandparents and friends. A safe and secure sheltered garden tempts guests to stay all day yet the vast array of activities to do in the area also attracts many guests to return again and again. We live just across the road so will be there to welcome you and available to advise on places to visit. We will also give you a guided tour of the farm if you would like that but we also respect your privacy and leave you to enjoy your holiday with minimal interaction if this is your preference.

Despite being conveniently tucked away off of the A30 Gospenheale Barn is very well located for exploring both locally and regionally. The barn itself has wonderful views and just the right balance of privacy for relaxation as well a sense of security from the very friendly surrounding community. Gospenheale Barn is ideally situated as a jumping off point to explore Cornwall. Conveniently but not intrusively(!) situated close to the A30, it was easy day tripping from here, and we explored far and wide! I am lucky enough to have travelled extensively on business and developed somewhat of a critical eye for rooms, bathrooms, living areas and so on....

We had a lovely week staying at the barn. The location is ideal for North/mid Cornwall. The facilities are top-quality throughout. The owners, David and Bridget, are very helpful and recommended local places to eat, visit and shop. Highly recommend and we hope to visit again another time.

The open plan first floor living area has exposed oak A-frames, wooden floors and beautiful views across the patchwork of local farmland with Dartmoor in the distance. The lounge has a digital TV, DVD player, comfy seats and a selection of books, games, toys and DVD's for guests to use. A large kitchen area has been fitted with electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washer dryer. 20 minutes drive to the North Cornish coast at Crackington Haven. In less than 25 minutes you can be enjoying the delights of Widemouth Bay, Bude, Tintagel, Boscastle or Trebarwith Strand. Wonderful Beaches to enjoy and stunning Cliffs for coast walks. We provide maps, walk and cycle books for the area.

Attractions
Trethorne Leisure Park is the biggest undercover attraction in North Cornwall and less than 5 minutes away. It has an indoor play area including a scary drop slide and a wavy slide, in addition to an outdoor play area. There are a variety of animals, some of which children can feed, including ponies and a shire horse. Trethorne also offers an excellent indoor bowling facility, and an 18-hole golf course, but that's really more for the adults.

Gospenheale Barn is situated 5 miles West of Launceston in Cornwall. By car, come to Cornwall on the A30 trunk road driving west. After you drive past the town of Launceston take the A395 signposted to Wadebridge and Camelford. Drive for 3 miles on the A395 until you reach the small village of Pipers Pool. As you enter the village turn right onto a side road signposted to Egloskerry. Gospenheale Barn is 350 metres on the right hand side. Closest airports to Gospenheale Barn are at Exeter which is 53 miles away or Newquay 39 miles.
