The people in Barbados are very friendly and helpful.  If directions are needed to get anywhere, accommodating advice was received.  Bajans' all spoke English.

The food is fabulous; dolphin fish, barracuda and lots of shrimp etc.  The fish has a more solid texture like chicken and not the flaky texture used to in Canada .  Seafood is less fishy tasting.  All the food had lots of flavor.

St Lawrence Gap is a very noisy tourist area and individuals may be somewhat disappointed to discover accommodation is in such a noisy area.  Some people might not be able to handle the noise from all the bars and restaurants.  The South Gap hotel or Turtle beach may be a bit quieter.
